Careful - thread title may make Inouva shout again

I lol'd at the video. Sheer police incompetence. Don't leave them standing beside the motorway after you know they have a tendency to run across it ...Put them in the squad car to talk to them or whatever...
lol let's keep bumping it then!

Seriously, those were women? They looked like machines, they just got up and started running around after being hit by trucks and cars. Looks like a scene from some sci-fi movie.

They must have been lost extra terrestrials.
Girl 1: What kind of make up should I buy?
Girl 2: That one with the cu.... omfg I fell haha
Quote from thisnameistaken :Mace would definitely work - it's entirely physiological, I've been MACEd, it just works. Baton, maybe not-so-much. Taser would work temporarily, gun would work fine through blood loss.

The Viet Cong weren't using amphetamines, they were just much, much better at jungle warfare than the poorly-trained children you sent to fight against them, and excellent guerillas.

I dont really care about your opinions on the war, but I am just about sure about the Viet Cong were in fact on amphetamines and this would make sense because of the manufacturing of drugs of all types in that region. What I meant about the gun being ineffective was that the pain would not be a factor (all shots are meant to kill, but obviously that doent always happen. Also what I said excluded the obvious factors of blood loss and a hit on a vital organ). Also, it seems that a taser does in fact work fairly well (the kind that shoots barbs at least; at the time my dad and his friend were cops, all they had were the type that dont shoot barbs) and mace seems to have almost no effect: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=01Mf81w_lbQ

Edit: this is the type that seems effective: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wd0av6GLa58

What they had (at least the cop; my dad was about 6-8 years before wide spread use of tasers) was the kind requiring direct contact

Edit edit: It seems that tasers (barb shooting ones) are actually quite effective: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wd0av6GLa58

You are completely wrong.
Quote from Lateralus :You are completely wrong.

Quite likely, but I remember reading about some "enemy" of the US using PCP or something similar. First Iraq war maybe?

Edit: Ahhhhhhhhhhh, I figured it out: the conflict with Bosnia. That one I'm sure of. Ma bad, I admit I was wayyyyy off.
I watched Traffic Cops on BBC i-player and saw this, I was quite shocked they showed it on the BBC because it shows them being hit by the vehicles. I feel sorry for the motorists and emergency services that had to witness it.
Oh FFS, they want to kill themselves, that's absolutely fine, not much of a loss. WHY DAMAGE PEOPLE'S CARS DAMN IT!?
Quote from squidhead :Oh FFS, they want to kill themselves, that's absolutely fine, not much of a loss. WHY DAMAGE PEOPLE'S CARS DAMN IT!?

And, did you see what damage one of them did to a car? They smashed the windshield pretty far in. They could have caused people to crash and die.
Quote from chanoman315 :welll... they are an american experiment or what... seriously

wow wtf is that supposed to mean?
Quote from sam93 :Was watching this on BBC last night aswell, one gets knocked over once and the one who runs out after leaves a lovely dent at the top of the windscreen/roof and after a couple of minutes gets up hits the copper and starts running across the other side, they are nutters. I dont believe that they were on drugs though as head injuries cause behavour like this, I know lol.

They should sue the council for an illegally placed motorway.

experiment for invincible soldiers... maybe they were the beta testers
Quote from ajp71 :They should sue the council for an illegally placed motorway.

ain't you a funny one. If nothing was wrong why is it that the people who was going to deal with it contacted the council and within a week there was a new sign up, so there are now sharp bend signs for both directions, the direction I was going there wasnt a sharp bend sign.
NM, I cba with the argueing when I know what happened and you dont, my Dad is going to be contacting a barrister who should be then able to help me out with my claim, I haven't had any success yet as solicitors or people who sort out claims/compo etc... is because they dont want to loose work from the council.

^ and that was linked after this video.

I watched it over and over and couldnt figure out what the heck happened. Was he trying to kill himself or what?

Edit: Just watched it again; seems that they were trying to jump the fence but forgot to look before hand. Not quite sure how I missed that, but still. . .

It seems like that fence was put in to stop pedestrians from crossing in that area, because maybe it is an incredibly dangerous place to cross the road. But they defeated the purpose of it by jumping over the fence.

More so when you don't jump high enough, your foot gets hooked and you face plant into the side of the bus.
