Sonicrealms Racing hosts weekly races, with the same car being driven for one month. At the end of each month, the car changes and a new challenge begins. At the end of every month a new champion is crowned.

This month will see you racing the FZR cars, with 20% restriction, around some of the tracks used during the MOE season. This event will start with the challenging KY3 circuit.

The calender will follow like this:


1/10/08: Kyoto Ring 3: 2 x 4 lap sprint races with the feature race lasting 8 laps. Qualifying will be 4 minutes in length.

8/10/08: West Hill International: 2 x 6 lap sprints, with a 12 lap feature. Qualifying will be a 3 minute dash.

15/10/08: South City Long: 2 x 6 lap sprints, and a 12 lap feature. Qualifying will again be 3 minutes in length.

22/10/08: Blackwood: 2 x 7 lap sprints, with a 14 lap feature. Qualifying will only be two minutes.

29/10/08: Kyoto National: 2 x 7 lap sprints, 14 lap feature. Qualifying of 3 minutes.

Rules:

Race 1 Grid will be determined by your Qualifying position as per usual. However Race 2's grid will be the same as you finished the previous race. This means that the reverse grid will be in Race 3. If you DNF from Race 2, you will start from the front in Race 3.


The finale at Kyoto will have a slightly different points system. Race 3, as it is the finale, double points will be awarded for Race 3 ONLY.


The event takes place every week on [SR] Race Server 3 starting at 8.30pm BST.




Would be great to see some of the GT2 guys there. Would make it more competitive.

Shhhhh. That went slightly wrong, and I do understand why you left the server, but when half the grid has been wiped out by people who joined just as the grid formed we have no alternative but to restart.

I personally blame Turkey for not passwording the server quick enough.

I am sorry about that. Next time ( if there is a next time :schwitz the server will be passworded before. This week it was not possible given the lateness of this post.

Once again I am sorry...

This was CSF's first event and I think he did well considering he didn't know all the commands etc.. I told him I would password the server at the last minute and typed the command wrong and unfortunatley we got some unexpected late comers who didn't know the restrictions. We promise next time will be better
