The incident involving car 42 on Lap 4 in Turn 8 was investigated by the Race Director and Review Stewards. The incident occured during the Official Replay from 5:45 until 6:25.

Driver of Car 42 is found to have intentionally held his car in the gravel trap to draw out the Safety Car for his benefit. This can be found to breach the following Rule:

Quote :3d: It is each drivers responsibilty to be aware and and familiar with event rules and guidelines. No driver is to seek to exploit any of these rules to their advantage or to the disadvantage of others competitors.

The exploitation involves rule 7a of the oneGP General Rules and Guidelines. For this incident, Driver of Car 42 will start from the pit lane of the next oneGP F1 World Series Event he participates in. This assumes he satisfies the 4s Rule.

In addition, in accordance with 10a, the oneGP Administration will amend the rules prior to Round 12 with this, along with the addition of additional pitlane rules. Please see a topic soon to be created to discuss this.

Results are now official as they stand.

Well it's been a good series so far...........I don't think i've done too badly for myself considering i've been on my bill, started playing lfs in march and I use a mouse. Could have done better in other races but other racers have hindered me (knocked me off track etc) *Cough* FEG *Cough* lol.

About the next series, i'm hoping we don't have to wait until next march or april for it............maybe we can have a bigger series next time with more rounds? Night race in next patch? Would be fun :P. Also, as I have been a loner pretty much this series, i'm thinking that I could join AA or something next series? Just an idea Wooz lol, I won't be offended if you say..."No effing way, you're crap"
No effing way, you're crap!

lol. I'm not opposed to it but currently AMB is filling the second slot for AA and I doubt you'll be satisfied to be a backup =). Although there's a small chance I won't be able to race next season so in that case you could. Also, I don't know if AMB wants to stay in AA or even oneGP after this season is over. So like I said, it's fine by me, but there are still a few important details that are still unknown.
By the way, Wisneiwski, you had an absolutley massively perfect restart after that SC...excellent go of it.

Yah, i have no idea what happened on the restart, apart from that i was last and was braking heavily though the final hairpin and schicane to stop myself hitting people, then ended up loosing tons of ground off the restart.

I just made the idea up because AMB has missed a lot of races under AA. But anyway, you have to race in the second season!!!!! lol

Wow, thanks.
I just watched Formula Masters earlier that day and noticed how these tempestous teenagers create lead after SC on MOnza, on which its espiecialy hard. They actualy made really similar crash like one which happened in race http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqxnFysaKUs bunch of looneys
Right guys, is it actually worth buying a wheel? I mean, i'm pretty good now anyway with my mouse and i'm getting better all the time, it's not as if i've reached the limit with what i'm using.....

I've been looking for pedals on their own but can't find any.......
yes it is!! I don't know about mouse, but I long ago when first getting to know lfs used kb. Horrible. Then I got a Thrustmaster FFB Ferrari, which was rubbish. I did do and manage well but now, last wednesday I recieved my brand new g25. And I've been in love with it since. Even though the steering with the ferrari was much faster (less rotation), the mear force feedback is so stunnigly accurate that I'm breaking my previous pb's.

A few days ago I spotted a post on the finnish lfs forum, which basically said, that it doesn't matter what you control the car with, it's all down to skill. (This post probably doesn't help at all)
Yes, a wheel is well worth it. You know I was on mouse for a long time and was fast with it. I'm not quite as fast with the wheel but it's so much more fun than a mouse. I'd never even think of switching back. And I think I'm on the verge of figuring out how to get back to speed, I'm just not able to drive as much as I used to.

I haven't driven with a G25 but my MOMO is more than good enough. And I got it for about $65 on ebay.
Yeah i've had a go on a $40,000 F1 simulator in Vegas which had a G25 wheel...........AMAZING, paid $120 just to go on it for 30 mins lol

I'm short on cash at the mo though (just started uni)........don't forget, the UK put's an extortionate amount of tax on everything, so i can't really buy a momo for less than £50/$90.

I had a DFP but sold it again because I was RUBBISH!, then it took me a few weeks to get used to my mouse again
You should buy and use a wheel really. Its a driving sim and if you cant be as good with a wheel (or arent willing to be) then your no good at "driving"

Im sure if you have the skill to be competive with a mouse, once used to it, youll be much quicker and consistant with a wheel. And it will be x10 as satisfying.

Lol. I gave up with the DFP after around 3 days lol so I didn't put much effort into using it. I also found the DFP FFB to be very loud.....

What's the best cheapest wheel to buy? lol
I think the MOMO is a great balance between price and quality. It's not loud and it has 6 preset buttons which I find very useful. I use 'em for looking left/right, checking tires and suspesion, changing settings for anti-roll/brake bias/etc.. mid race, and turning the speed limiter on/off.

But yeah, you won't be as good for a while on combos that you're used to on mouse (aka: i still havent hit 1.12s on FBM/BL1). But you'll be better over all, more consistent, and you'll wonder why you ever drove with a mouse for so long once you're used to it.
Cheapest momo I've found is the equivalent of 80 bucks:jawdrop:
We'll if you could blow $120 to use a simulator for 30min then I assume you can spend a little over half that for a wheel you can use for life. =P
Haha, well for that, I was actually given dollars to spend whilst I was away...........still came back with about $200 to spare

But I partly sold my DFP because it was a lot of money.........$100ish....

Pfft, damn university lol
I got my momo from Dell for 112.14$ shipped, my DFP from the store for 60$ and my G25 from the store for 240$. I usually wait for good deals or ask around people who work at electronics stores and see if I can get a discount. It's well worth it.
The cheapest wheel you can buy is about 20 quid - P&P from Logitech

Mine was £50 + P&P direct from them, and i've had it more than a year now, works great
I'll have a look around and see what I can find. Whilst this thread is turning into more of a general discussion, I have a question! Does anyone want to compete in The Annual 16 Hour Race? It sounds amazing...

I do, but I believe the signups are full.
I aswell, but as Ken says, it's full
Well are you on the waiting list? I've been told to sign up as there is a good chance i'll get a slot
You can't really do it on you're own... that's why If you wish to team up, I'm all in for it
Sounds like fun. Can't really commit to that right now though.
