I don't think the purpose of the abnner is to advertise individual teams.

To get the UFBR one up there, I asked in a thread in the league section.

Theres already one for "Sim Radicals" so one would assume that you can advertise up there...

Advertising top-right on the LFS forum is limited to LFS international sites, leagues and events, skin sites and server systems etc, AFAIK, but Vic doesn't permit individual team advertising there.

There are quite a few initiatives to promote teams. For example, we try to promote teams on the CTRA site on drivers' stats pages. Just upload a banner for your team in MyCTRA and the banner should then appear on all your team's member stats pages, linking to your team website etc. It's dependent on information collected from LFSW, so that info needs to be maintained, but it does get heavily indexed by Google etc. so it should help.

The only way to get a banner upthere is to offer something to the community.
The RSR site has a very good news section devoted to SIM Racing in general but a good bit of it is solely for LFS this is what enables the banner to be on the forums.
