I need help with my taillights. I edited the dds file but the old taillights overlay my new ones. Need help please!!!

All you can do is to black-out the areas that you don't want to be a part of the tail lights. It also looks as if you have made your texture overlap the reverse lights. Editing the tail lights has limited possibilities. The original lights are still there, we only have the ability to mask out certain areas to create the illusion of new lights. With some experimentation fairly good results may be achieved.
