You need additional 512mb ram and normal video card, even FX 5950 will be fine. But better get 7*** mid-end or 8*** - low end series (if u r limited in $$$)
adding another half a gig won't make much of a difference in a game that doesn't use more than 300MB.

Your thinking wrong - S2 isn't even finished yet. Its going to be a number of years until S3 comes out.

And anyway, S3 will be £36 if you buy it new or it will be £12 if you already have S2 - so there's no incentive to wait.
yea your probably right i mean you are right but i guess ill just try to convince my dad so i can use his bussiness computer... hehe its a hp pavillion elite !!! and a 19 inch monitor + a dfp = heaven lol o yea i need his permission plus s2

There's your problem. A nearly 8 year old PC just can't run modern games. Even LFS. It does sound quite good for 8 years old though. Almost the same spec as my 6 year old Dell, except it didn't have onboard video...

If you're lucky it has an AGP port, and you might be able to install a 9800 or similar with the stock PSU. Chances are it doesn't, and you can't though. Upgrading something that old is really pointless to be honest, best bet is to use your Dad's PC or to just get a new one altogether if you're into gaming
Maybe if you want run Lfs with some good fps, do like me: look for some (in good conditions) used AGP videocards (if your CPU can handle one) i bought my cousin´s ATI Radeon 9250, in something like 74$, with 128 Mb DDR, it runs LFS 0.5Z (without touching the default graphics sets) very well at 1024x768 Res and 32 bit color, it goes in 30-48 fps all the time, but in a big start grid (something like 15 cars in front of you) it runs at 15-16 fps, then it goes normal again, is a good card, and with 512 mb of ram it runs ok, just like above, and plus, is a cheap card, so if you are saving for a car, is a good option.
