Hi @ all, long time no suggestion from me, but the last few days kept me thinking of one over and over again!

This probably has already been suggested, but I couldn't find any thread talking about that.

I would love to see some sort of driver rating, like rating a driver as friendly, fair, aggressive or whatever, but only with some sort of detail! Not only "dumb" or so, a closer explanation should be required.

This should warn people, when someone enters a server and is marked as a crasher or something!

Why I came up with this idea is the freaking growing mass of unfair driver! Not only that they drive like idiots, some of them are good drivers, but call you a nazi or discriminate you because of your country!

I got crashed the last few days, just because I'm from germany. The hitler-area was over more then 60 years ago, I wasn't even born and now people make me accountable for the things I've never done!

People tell me to leave a server, because it is a cz-server and not a german or whatever! I know, I'm not the only one and I know, that not only germans are the victims and I also know that there are some germans, who act like idiots, too! But thats why I came up with this "idea".

This ratingsystem could be missused as well, thats the negative thing, but if there are more negative ratings with dumb descriptions then negative ratings with ah...well, good-descripted descriptions then you can differ from real and dumb-ratings!

Ehm....yeah thats it! Would like to hear your thoughts!

OMG, mate. That's really terrible. Just you know that those comments say more about the people saying them than about you.

Not sure what a good solution is but I'd make sure the Admin of the server is informed.

Enter a populated server and you get 12 bad votes instantely, just for fun, while each one of these kids gets 11 good ones...How do you balance this at the end of the day?

Try to search a little bit in this forum, many other ways have been discussed before - no real solution exist unfortunately. Find better servers and stick to them, if you ever get S2 it becomes easier (but not 100% guarantee there).

Systems such as CTRA rely on people reporting such incidents to an admin pool, who then judge the replays and apply penalties afterwards.Some servers are run with a live admin, relying on the admin ethics for these decisions.

If it would only be comments, I would slug them down, but as I get crashed and banvoted, I can't just sit there and ignore it! But still thanks for your thoughts

Yeah I know what you are saying about the negative aspect, thats why I thought about a reason (why this rating) you have to enter, before rating! It's a bad solution I know! Another one probably could be some sort of rating-limit, like 3-5 per day! So you have to think about it, before rating and if someone has rated more then 100 guys as negative and only 5 positive, then he probably is someone not to trust!

It's hard to find "better server" if you are regular guest, known by the admins for more then 6 month and then some idiots start to like the same server and keep visiting it as much as you do and start ambushing you because of your sources! And even the admins aren't online everytime!
And yeah I will buy S2, but not yet!

It's a difficult issue, but anyway thanks for your thoughts

Stuffi - if you were to buy the full S2 package, the servers there are a LOT better regulated. It's got better since demo racers needed to register too, but the demo servers are still a bit of a wasteland of stupid people and badly organised servers (not that there aren't a few good ones, obviously).

If you want to race on demo, good competition and fair admins, try (only examples)
Zion race demo for XRG, XFG - but be warned most drivers here run 1.34xx or less regularly and want to win badly, so it may be challenging. I get owned in there

Yeah I want to buy S2, but there are serveral other things I'd like to investigate in the near future with much higher priority than games

I visit Zion very often, good drivers and high challenging races, espacially in Prime Time and yeah I run 1.34.xx and less regulary too

I think PINK is offline or to high ping for me, GanzGenau is new to me, bet it's not online or only, when I'm not and Bremskiller sadly is down too or changed it's serversettings to "no vote", but I remember not visiting it for a long time!

www[dot]dovrchu[dot]cz #2 has nice admins too, but this is the server I get ambushed the most! I don't make the admins responsible for it, but I think most of the visitor think its cz-only!

SYNOWIE WIATRU #1, ZIOM and [SKH]Fair Play are worth visiting too, but I think sometimes the admins are partial or at SKH never there -.-

In fact there are some good servers, alot of fair and challenging drivers, but all those don't stop keep idiots getting online!

I think I just recognized that it's still to early to think about such a system or to think about measures of preventing racists, crashers and other idiots from disturbing fair players.

But I thank you all for your thoughts and opinions and hope that it gets better soon or when I get S2.
