Anyone know where I can download Windows Packet Editor Pro (WPE Pro)

I had a site and I download it but my anti virus detects a trojan, people say to download it and open while my internet is turned off, not sure whether to trust them, also is Linux a free download?
Linux is free.

Nahh more like picking the right one for your taste.
I ordered Ubuntu a couple of weeks ago, they'll send out a free disk of the DVD version, in your choice of server/pc 32/64 bit. Took less than 2 weeks to arrive, came last weekend

As for WPE, no matter where you download from, it comes up as a trojan. Avast picked it up for me, but it is safe. It's like using any crack (for educational purposes of course ), 90% of them show up as trojans. It's still perfectly safe, I've had it on my HDD for a couple of months now, and there's been no problems
For picking a Linux distro, I'd recommend Debian. Ubuntu's based on Debian, and Debian 'testing' makes for a rock solid system. It's really really customizable from the start. Been using it for years. Try it out!
