please help me with rfactor.my video card or graphics card will not play the game.since rfactor is backwards compatible with DirectX7 would it be able to play on my computer using DirectX7?
Depends on your card. TBH, while rF might support the DX7 code paths so much has changed since the early days that most DX7 cards probably do not have the grunt to run it any more.
Min requirement now I believe is 128Mb of vid memory which counts out almost all DX7 only cards.
my computer is like 3 or 4 years old so im gunna guess thats when the graphics card was made.but would it be possible to use directx7 to play rfactor for a weak graphics card like mine?
It's possible, I think you need to run the Video Config tool that runs the first time you start it - I imagine the program is in the main folder somewhere. Then you should be able to set it to directx7 mode.
so if i can get it to use directx7 to play it would it run the game? it came up and said it has to have atleast 64mb of video memory and apparently my graphics card is very weak because it doesnt have that much i guess im not sure but any ways as i said if i can set it to directx7 would it be able to play it or would it still be to weak to play it using directx7?
