Hi all,

is there any way to use both mouse and joystick simultaneously to steer in LFS? I'd very much like to use a joystick for acceleration/braking and mouse for steering.... Of course I prefer a wheel, but as I play on my laptop very often, I need a method with two analog-axes which is *a bit* better to transport :-)

I tried to set mouse and joystick simultaneously, but at the moment it seems to be an EITHER-OR-feature?

yes it is possible... set your control to joystick/wheel and then when assigning axes you can choose mouse...

Yeah that what i used to do with my old joystick...i use it as a clutch pedal and have the throttle/brake and steer set up on the mouse axis's..its a neat set up and works quite good if i didnt have to recalibrate my crap joystick every 2 minutes

you mean you used "mouse vertically" for acceleration/brake and "mouse horizontally" for steering? I haven't tried it yet (will do it tomorrow) but it seems a bit awkward to me...?
