im posting with it. its kinda great but not that great...
yay let's put a rendering engine that is targeted at multiple platforms and extensibility using a buttload of scripting and abstraction layers into severely constrained systems which run on another buttload of abstraction layers.

Would this go on the itouch? If so I will deffently use it so I dont have to use Safari.
sam, that sounded very naughty. Hopefully you mean the iPod Touch (tm).

Of course not...Apple would have to agree to put it on the App store and it never will...
It doesn't agree to sell apps that replace its 4 basic apps: Phone, Sms, Email and Safari...

What could stop me from downloading it and sending it over to the itouch bypassing the app store? Or wouldn't it install?
Do you even have an iPod Touch?

Installing foreign apps isn't easy even on a jailbroken one...and you certainly can't add an app that isn't made for the iPhone and the likes...which Fennec won't be...
Sounds like a silly idea, I commend the for pushing the envelope and such, but it is hardly practical when using a mouse.

Now if I was using a tablet/touchpad then it'd be a great bit of software.

Nice, feels almost exactly the same as mobile Safari. I call it 'mobile' Safari rather than the preferred 'full internet on your phone' as it's not - it can barely render fonts, doesn't support flash and crashes on average 16 times every minute.

This should be better - assuming it doesn't burn up all the available RAM like Firefox.

Even on a touchpad it's shite, especially on a Mac, when you have all these gestures for scrolling and back/forward etcera.

It's iPod Touch - not iTouch. It's also iPod, not IPOD, Ipod, IPod or any other butchering of the name.
Still, it's an overpriced toy. Now not that tha iPod thingamies are bad, but way too expensive. Like BMWs.

yes, sorry for disrespecting it. we will make sure never to make mistakes when referring to iPod(T)(C)(R).

Sorry it's just a little thing that annoys me a lot
we don't use punctuation. we don't use proper capitalization, hell a significant percentage can't tell if they're supposed to use their they're or there... and you want us to pay attention to the ipod? ftn

There's a difference though. Omiting all sorts in 'live' chat is perfectly fine to me, but expecting coherent and correct typing when a suitable moment presents itself isn't over the top .
Quote from Jakg :It's iPod Touch - not iTouch.

Might not be it's technical name, but many people still call it iTouch. It's kind of a short nickname for it.
Yeah, aand that's how you know which people are the stupid cocks or not.

Why? When you are in a "live" chat you are pressed for time? Or does it take extra effort from you to type correctly? I don't consider talking or typing to be different. Both are expressions of your thoughts and as such are inherently as coherent as them.

In short: your thought processes (on some matter) dictate your speaking and typing (on that matter)
