Its just the internet is very unreliable, anyone can add their opinions. How do you know what is right and what is wrong? There is a reason books are still used, a bunch of scientists can publish a book and it can be verified and used as an official tool in education. You can't do that with the internet, it changes all the time and is filled with false facts.

Edit: Something like this: A Physics Book. It may not be free, but you will end up with a better understanding of physics than browsing the internet could give you.

Actually you did nothing to the compass. I'm sorry to have to inform you of a small, but funny, coincidence. At the exact time you were fiddling with the compass, I was turning on all the lights in my house. Because I've routed the cables myself, I coiled them around a massive iron beam, thinking that I'd need a big magnet at some point. I had forgotten all about this and then some of my relays started acting funny. So I turned on all the lights to see if all the relays worked, and found out one was, and still is, sorta broken.

To make a long and supremely interesting story short, my house is a magnet and I broke your compasses, sorry.

EDIT: Oh yeah, and I want to be recognized as the FIRST PERSON ON THE LFS FORUM, with a house that's a magnet.

I have seen at least 3 clear explanations of what you are saying you're the first to prove. I'm sure that information is there somewhere. If it's so hard to find then it's not needed (in the way you what to explain it anyway i.e. fixing a compass).

And if they understand that the compass has been reversed (which they would have to find your answer) in the first place then I think they'd understand how to fix it from the theory shown.

my eye sight and hearing improved as well
