This weeks theme is... "Behind the Scenes"

Rules: (made by Spangler_CZE, these will not be changed)


Create a picture that shows racing "Behind the scenes". Less of the on-track action, and more of the action that spectators rarely see. Your edit can be a variety of things: Pitlane action and atmosphere, pit garage work... basically anything that goes on "Behind the scenes" - try to create and work on some unusual screenshots.

As usual, a preview pic of no bigger than 400px on one edge, a link to the high res version and please write 'Final Entry' if it is so. Once you have posted your final entry, any edited posts will be removed from the competition.

All entrants to post between Monday 20th October and 23:59 GMT on Friday 24th October.

No renders or old images to be used. Use only your own work.

Here's what I've done so far

During the week I'm gonna make the jack look less of a shambles, add some decent reflections to the car, and add a few more toolboxes and bits

Is that jack under the car, or next to it? BTW, looking good

Just realised the grass from the original shot could still be seen through the windows

Just did a bit more on it. Made the car look a bit more jacked up, with the jack looking more like it's under the car, made the wheel nuts smaller, got rid of the grass that you could see through the windows.

So hard to get a trophy in this competition , Well i'll try my luck in this mode.

JO53PHS ,nice idea,but so far its an epic fail,the jack is at the wrong angle,you will never get it under the car properly

I might go out and take my own picture of a jack, so then I can try and make it look like it's the right angle. I think the problem is that the picture of the jack needs to be one from a less steep angle, because currently the angle the picture of the jack is taken doesn't match the angle of the picture.

Hmm.. I don't understand, why is PHOTOMODE the title of this competition, because at the moment, for this theme I see 2 pic's which was made in LFS. For example: JO53PHS, your pic can be made by using the LFS Skin Viewer, cutting out the FZR, and changing the background...It's simple, and I think it's not an in-game photo. Spangler's example pic is very good. And Deejayyaj's pic is awesome. This pic's are photo's, but the rest is photoshop, or dunno what prog's are you using for edit pic's...Guys, it's just MY opinion.

Yes my friend, I've didn't sad, that you copy paste-ed the background. But a suggestion: Why we are changing the nature of this pic? In your pic for example: Why don't you use the LFS Garage, what is in game? and then you didn't have to cut the car, to make a nice background, and etc etc. It's more simple, but it's more closer to the screenshot, that an cutted car somewhere in a strange nature....It's not Photo, or screenshot, if you cut out a car, and you put it on a non LFS pic...It's edited pic, or something like this, but it's far far away from screenshot imo. But do what you want, theese are only my suggestions for moving the competition more closer to the in-game photos...

I was originally going to use the LFS garage, but they're so damn small that firstly I couldn't get a decent angle for my picture, and secondly I couldn't fit in all the crap I wanted to put there

Hey I know Your Getting at my picture, Its no prob as its still a test im fixing a lot of stuf.....But i didnt just copy paste everything, if you guys want ill show you the original picture..

I've just talked about, that many pics are more photoshop and least LFS...but here the accent is on the screenshot..your background pic DK it's a photo from a garage. What you did? you made an in-game screenshot, you've cutted the car, and pasted on this image. The image is OK, it's fine, but it's 20% LFS, 80% Photoshop...just the car is from LFS, anything else is stranger..but how I've sad, it's just my personal opinion
