Nice interview once again. I hate WE in this car but meh.

___

As for the question on the post above I don't think its unfair for a driver who has a better pace to unlap him self... But if he caused a collision or a crash that was his fault then maybe report it and it'll be reviewed. If he made a clean pass through and kept going I don't see why he'd be penalized. It's not like you'd stay behind someone for 20 laps right behind them without doing anything...

Just my opinion . Your presence in OneGP is appreciated and love to see you guys race.
unbelievable what happened in that race i was not there and not racing, but i have an opinion to the actions happened:

1. P.Taylor: dont take it personal, but what you did is unbelievable, you did a mistake pressing 'i' , not 't' (unclear on itself, the keys are not really so near each other ) and because of that you turned of your engine. but why rejoining is a solution for that ? total wrong decision from race admin in that situation. i mean oneGP try to be as realisitic as reality (as far this is possible in lfs), giving a hard and long list of rules and then you allow SHIFT+P in the race? why that ? and P.Taylor was not the only one, who did this. very inconsistent decisions

the meaning of BLUE FLAG is clear i think, or ? so i also dont understand why not acting like this, i think there were more than one situation where crashes start because not handling it correctly, or do i see something wrong ?

i mean, some decision made by race admins and some acting of some drivers really didn't look very professional and i was really shocked, when my teammate telled me the story of the race day. i just wanted to give "my kleks senf" to that, needed to say that.
The reason I allowed Both Mr Taylor and Mr Leahy to telepit and rejoin at that time was to maximize competitors on track and because it had not yet passed completion of lap 2.

On second thought later in the day, I do admit that it probably wasn't the most smart idea, nor the best one at the time. I believe that I gave Taylor the go-ahead because I thought he was in pitlane or something along those lines at the time, and the "pit crew" would have been able to restart him. If this was incorrect, chalk it up to being the sole admin in server at the time. During those SCs, I was doing 4 things at once: Driving, Watching the minimap to see what was going on with the field, listening/reading what people were asking/saying, trying to respond as quickly as possible (which led to disaster a couple times in the two early SC periods.

Note that I abandoned commentary for the SC periods, to try and increase my focus.

Summary - I apologize for any mistakes I made yesterday.
The two pistops made by Wisnewski during race have been reported as rule-violating, and are being investigated.

Rule-violating? More info please on the violation which is under investigation?

Just watched the replay of the pits he made and it seems that he crossed more than the first pit box in front of him when he left his pit box on both occasions. It's not like the whole car drove through the boxes it was only at most 2 tires. Hopefully it won't turn out to be a penalty.
It would have to be...

Quote :4c: Cars in pit-lane shall drive in the pit driving lane (Fast Lane) until they reach their desired pit-stall. Drivers may not drive in the pitting lane (slow lane) except for the duration of their pitbox, and the box immediately preceding it or immediately following it. A drive-through penalty may be issued for each occurrence.

I see. The famous new rule. Imo the rule should have been reminded before the race but I guess it could be said that its the driver and teams responsibility to tell the drivers. Drivers briefings would be cool before a race and possibly remind people of new rules and danger points of the track.
I think it was before qualifying when deko mentioned "oneGP rule changes now take effect" or something along the lines of that. He probably should of mentioned what took effect though. If he did maybe I wasn't paying attention.
Just so you all know, the rule does not intend to specifially indicate exactly one box - there is room still for interpretation. It's based on space between stalls, etc. The penalty will be issued if there is intent to use most stalls. But a clipping of a box before the box before your stall can be considered accidental, and not result in a penalty.

WOw, I suprised that I'm suspected of racing misconduct. In reaplay its clear that i havent passed any line while driving into pits or driving out them. I went thru 1 or 2 pitstop positions but thats actually all. I can assure that i havent done that on purpose and i didnt have any advantage from that. Also pitting while SC- pits were opened as in any other race so I think thats clear situation. Correct me if I'm wrong
I can't double check the replay where I am right now but it looked like you went through several pit boxes entering/exiting your box. The rule says you can only cross 1 entering and 1 exiting. Don't get me wrong though. I don't think there should be a penalty because there was no advantage gained and it didn't endanger any other drivers.
Results?

EDIT: Deko, Please watch me on lap 17 (timecode 30:12), you will see Wolf ram me off onto the grass intentionally. As well as this, Wolf also hit me several times under the safety car which considerably worsened my suspension damage which was originally sustained from Woozy landing on me upside down (from the 1st lap my car was twitching all over the place).

LOL!!!! For some reason I just loved the way you said ''from woozy landing on me upside down'' so calmy (or at least it sounds calmly).
Sounds almost like its everyday business having cars fall on you upside down :P.

Edit : Maybe I'm just a bit too tired... Good night.
lol pimp. Got the late night giggles?
Yeah and no clue why I'm still up. Better get sleepin'!

It seems that mister Wisknewski cut through some boxes but not THAT many in the first stop and had a clean second stop... But no one was around and it was clear and no advantage was gained from it at all... Meh... Better just go to sleep.
Qual and Race Results added to OP. Still provisional.

Deadline for any more appeals is 2000 UTC on 21 October 2008.

Mine and Wiz's fastest possible laps in qual were identical to 2 decimal places
Yeah, it seems that i had beat all my best splits in last lap again Taylor is just behind me, same at AS north Rev eh?

Secont split was better in race than in qualy; i quess it will be the same at WE with first sector

Yeah I lost out all in the last sector. Same in race too. The corkscrew was the only corner I never really nailed like you.

That's a shame. I guess I'll have to stop holding back so I can challenge Wis (yeah right lol). Any particular reason?

A good friend is moving to New Zealand, already committed to a leaving party.

Hopefully Saluneuvo or Maissi can line up alongside Hibex and sew up the title for FRO.

You're celebrating he's leaving
