The 18 hours in my post includes me getting some sleep and a few other things in real-life that have slight precedence over finishing oneGP results.
I wish it that no one expect or even seem to require me to abandon anything else I may have going on to get results out ASAP. I most often get Provisional Results out on the evening of the race, then Officialise them mid-week. This week has been a cluster in my real life, and in this. I had to manually adjust every result for filo because LFSStats took his SC stats, so I had to rerun the first 4 laps to get his stats to place in.
This is by no means meant to be an attack or a "Get-back" at anyone, just a general comment to apply to my results processing.
The following cars are found to have violated the rule on crossing too many pit stalls. The lap of infraction is the lap they were on (their lap) when it occured.
Car 18 crossed several stalls on exit on his Stop on Lap 2. 25-Second Penalty.
Car 13 crossed several stalls on entry on his stop on Lap 23. 25-Second Penalty.
Cars 17 and 96 crossed more than one box on either entry or exit on one or more stops, but these crossings were not severe enough to warrant penalty.
Car 88 was investigated, and lifted off on the approach to the left-hander prior to the hairpin on the far side of the course. This is deemed to be an inappropriate place to lift and go offline, and is further deemed to be an unsafe action. This action caused Car 96 to spin off course and shunt the armco in the area.
Penalty to Car 88 is a 45-second time penalty for unsafe driving conduct.
The penalty is not simply because he crashed as a result of your action. It is also largely because your action was done at an unsafe point on the circuit.
A further commentary: I do not mind lapped cars attempting to unlap themselves, as long as they do not largely interfere with another's race. If they are faster, they have right to battle their way back up. Use your best judgement in these situations.
See you all in a week on WE1 for the penultimate round of the 2008 oneGP F1 World Series.
