Correct .
This?

We already have a "bad music" thread, no need to start a new one.
It's so bad it's good. Does all techno use the same seven or so synth sounds and vocal effects?

I take your Norway ...

And raise you ...

French Canadians!

(Not ear safe)

As someone who likes and listens to death metal, I preffer the original Avril Levigne version of the second mix...

And wierdly, I kinda like the first link too.

Am I liking stuff that's being mocked in this thread? Oh the shame...

I still like death metal though, which makes me cool, right?

only the bad electro stuff does

the good stuff sounds like this
.... (3 seconds in)....:thumbsdow
Quote from Klutch :Thats not speedcore, thats extratone.

Nothing I hate more than being corrected on what sub-genre something is - the genre is just a marketting term for us to create our own 'genius sidebar' whilst the record companies cant insert iTunes into our brain directly. The whole purpose of giving music a 'genre' is so people can identify with it and buy all the other bands from the same genre - smug in the knowledge they aren't like those other kids who listen to speed-tone-rap-sync-pop-metal-alternative-goth-wrist-slash-mega-hair-emo-punk, coz their all tards.
i was just correcting him so he didn't get the idea that the mindless excessive noise was speedcore.

theres a bit of a difference, nothing smug about it >.<
"speedcore" *raises an eyebrow*
I listen to a bit of what you linked, it sounded like "jumpstyle" to me...

Bit to fast for jumpstyle.
Speedcore/terrorcore is pretty much gabber, just sped up.

All jumpstyle is too fast for jumpstyle, have you ever tried it? My lampshades have to duck and cover.

hence the name has 'speed' in it..

i have tried it, yes
and yeah, its possible to dance to it
but just depends on how fit you are and how long youve been practicing

I think my point was lost somewhere in the details. Speedjumpcorestyle for the win !

Hmm I wonder if any of the mentioned 'artists' can play an instrument?

There is nothing particularly amazing about getting snyths, Cubase and drum machines to do all the hard work for you.

Plus I don't get how such tiny variations in tempo should be worthy of a different genre name, maybe its some kind of jargon to shut out and confuse outsiders.

As for he who started this thread, I can't believe you couldn't even be bothered to put a link up!

Ever tried to mix?
Not easy

Fair enough, but I wouldn't say its as hard as learning just about all the Guitar Chords and being able to go between them in a split second (something which I have a long way to go until I achieve :razz, or being able to keep a drum beat going in perfect timing for 10+ minutes?
Quote from Klutch :Thats not speedcore, thats extratone.

I wasn't saying it was called anything. I was just asking what the hell it was.

it's jumpspeedextracorestyle, obviously.

Ehm, no...actually, it's called "crap"

Quote from Klutch :none of your faggy electro bullshit
this is REAL edm

If it doesn't involve real instruments, you either listen to The Prodigy (or a few other bands that actually manage to carry out SOME talent), or this...thing...you posted... sorry, but THAT isn't even close to being considered "music"
