6 Hours of South City Long: Discussion
#3 - amp88
#4 - J@tko
Yeah, damn lag.
Apologys to a GT2 car I hit coming out of the last turn, misjudged exit with the tighter line, hope I didn't cause any damage.
Quick note to #40 AMT Team on lap 97

This is NOT a protest. Just a reminder to be more careful next time. The wall was coming up quick and leaving extra room would've been appreciated.

Small incident that cost us a lot of time. Let's make that not happen again
Id like to apologise to anyone taht was affected by me leaving the pits, not sure why i was at fault because i took the corner as tight as i could, next thing i have like 4 GT1 driver smacking me up the ass, i had no side mirrors so couldn't see much.

@CoRe especially Kristian.J, when were side by side going through a corner like that, keep to your side of the track or it will end in tears like it nearly did, you should of atleast lifted, you didn't have any right to the corner so what makes you think you can just plough into the side of me?

I'm sorry for that, but the car didn't turn that much as it should be, and it started to slide, some laps after that I had same situation and got through it very fine, racing incident for me. Sorry again.
Ah np, but i knew if you didn't let off it would have been a sandwich, i knew you were infront of me on track but i was trying to make a miracle happen so very desperate to get past and nothing to loose either i suppose as our race ended very early on.

All clear

Just saw MPR of this...

I would be very surprised if you did protest on this because this was 100% fault by Mr.Villeneuve

My teammate never showed any intention that he wants to close you to the wall. All time on the back straight he was holding his steering wheel going straight and by that line you both would have very safe passage by the wall. Never he corrected his line to the left in intention to block you or to get a line that will leave you no room between our car and wall, even if you did not have sufficient overlap and even if he could have done it and really not feel so much blame if you dont back off.

I do, however, agree with you, that this situations are avoidable, and we will do our best not to get into it again, and also we expect a little more respect from other side (not you or CoRe, I'm talking generally now). But this is racing, those things happen.

We did not lost great amount of time on this, luckily, but you did, and also had damage. We are sorry for this, but as I said this was avoidable on your side, you did not need to push us almost into a spin, because, I assure you, you would have had enough room there and maybe on next turn you would even come up in front.

Conclusion: extra caution on both sides next time? and dont worry we race clean and we have no intention to close door on attempt of clean pass, so dont be afraid any of my mates will not give you enough room.

Racing incidents happen, and people make mistakes on both sides, but we aim to race clean...

You are right. We didn't protest because of my part of repsonsability in it (not backing off). However the point was I shouldn't even have been forced to wonder if I was going to get squeezed or not. There was plenty of room on the right and I wouldn't have gotten the impression that I was heading towards the wall and made that mistake if your driver had shown some consideration about me.

Sorry if it sounded like I was saying your driver blocked me or pushed me. It wasn't the case. At all.

Looking forward to race with you at Westhill

All clear, I like when I can talk reasonably with someone.
I again assure you that my teammate would give you enough room whenever you [and whoever] deserve that room, and we will not do any stupid things that can damage any of the cars... that should clear your main point
I know mistakes can occur but we will not ever, by clear intention, do stupid blocking and/or pushing. You can feel safe in our close proximity

Race you @ WestHill!
