Quote from mrodgers :I don't know anything about this Redline Racing stuff. Is it multiplayer?

Most fun is had tuning the nuts off engines and changing vehicle script files and such to make the body parts fit better. Like this:

a V8 where the rear seats should be, with stupid amounts of power, which will do a wheelie from standing in 4th gear.

It looks like a Mk3 Golf, is the game free?
No, Patch 2.3.0LE is alot better. It also improves the speed of the game.

It pretends to be a Golf, it is FWD or if you buy the high powered version, AWD. A fun car, the biggest issue I have with the game however is the springs, stiff springs are always short, stupidly short to the point of negative camber, so if you want them to look like a normal car they drive like arse. Plus most cars are badly scripted so wheels poke out of the arches.

It isn't free, but it isn't far from it as it was released under Activision Value (~€5), though you'd be lucky to find a copy as it was never a big seller.
