No, it's not true
There's a mission where you have to make a self-standing umbrella, but with a time limit! and the bad guys are making holes in your water buckets, it's quite hard....

Sorry lerts, i'm messing with ya, there are no disturbing missions...
Gets out PS2-PC controller adaptor
Gets out Mastercard

Could be the first (3D) GTA I could imagine purchasing. All thanks to Scooter Brothers.

There are no disturbing contest from what I'v understood, but there are violent of course, something that is GTA style But you don't have to be affraight, it's more like.. well sometimes they manage to make a sick twist and you might just laugh at some sillly violent parts of the game. It's better than the other GTA games too, when there comes a demo - try that first and see if you like it before buying it.

how about the soundtrack?

vice city was great but st andreas sucked
I think it's great, a lot of fun / entertaining channels on the radio / soundtrack thingy in game. I at least was not dissapointed when I played it over at my friends place, seems to be a lot of difference, everything from heavy metall to church music, aswell as some epic dialogues lol, the radio is damn funny
You might wanna search, because GTAIV has been discussed ALOT on here before.
The soundtrack in GTAIV is great! Lots of classic tracks.

There's nothing better than the soundtrack in Saints Row 2 tho... because your character occasionally starts singing along (and he's bad at singing)!

Sorry for going off-topic a little...
The GTA4 soundtrack introduced me to Lloyd, who I like a lot.

It's a weird collection though, since a lot of the playlist feels like it would have been ultra-contemporary about 8 years ago. There's some newer stuff and obviously some totally unknown stuff, but most of it is alright.

Your choice basically comes down to cheesy, blingy, shouty, whiney or synthy

Rubbish controller for the game though, no analog triggers.

Same here, but I'm getting an Xbox-PC controller cable. GTA is so much more fun with a gamepad

I can't wait!
lol GTA IV for PC was announced in August :P

Still, can't wait!
Just get an xbox360 pad, works fine on a PC
I heard that it recommends 4gb of RAM.

Is dis tru?

So how come he's managing to post? :/

LERTS HACKEDZ LFS FORUM!!

On topic.
GTA IV = WIN! + PC = UBER WIN!
For those of you who havent played it yet, have fun running people over and seeing them ragdoll over your car

Hmmm, I thought the Dualshock2 did have analogue buttons. Not that I really noticed them (except in Metal Gear Solid ). Besides, it's gotta be better than a mouse and a keyboard.

Think he means the little hairy doofters you get on the back of an Xbox pad, might be wrong though.

I've played them all untill this one, so I guess I gotta keep that alive by getting this when it comes out, though i'll probarly just stick it out with the mouse and keyboard...

He means the trigger buttons, R2 and L2.
In the ps3 they arent buttons, they're axis. So you have more control when playing. So in gta if you pushed it down a tiny bit you would only accelerate a tiny bit. But if you pushed it down the whole way then ZOOOM, of you go.
Oh I see. Well the dualshock2 has pressure sensitive buttons, so if I press it a tiny bit I accelerate a tiny bit, and if I press it down hard then ZOOOM, off I go.
Lol
