More realistic and feasible pit-in idea
Hi!,
I know, the entrance to pits for each pilot is already suggested, but wanted to add a realistic suggestion to implement this idea in view of the progress made by programmers in the engine lfs. My suggestion is to activate the box itself through a command, so it take a little time to be ready to receive the pilot, and while is ready could surround the box square with cones around (obviously, three of four sides) appearing little by little (fade in) until it are finally materialized. this is with the intention that the other pilots who come to pit, especially those who come to Box nearby, dont´s passs for it, knowing that this space will be occupied while materializes, with the intention not to use it suqare box space to enter or leave to Box of these pilots. If these pilots go through this box once materialized, will have some sort of penalty. Once the box is ready, the pilot who activated the box, will receive a warning for gaining entrance to his box and after receiving the notice will have two or three times or laps (or programmers deem ) to enter his box, otherwise the box will no longer be prepared to wait for the pilot so that the cones disappear, and if this pilot wants to try again pits, you'll have to repeat the process.

I hope you understand, because I speak Spanish and I did this with a translator and my basic English.

thanks
Okay I read only the first two lines..

It doesn't take time in real life so why in lfs?

It would be better if pit-request will be added. No point in the pitplace activation imo, even if there would be, everyone would use macros etc to bind that command
"It doesn't take time in real life so why in lfs?"

so that other pilots are not suddenly with the cones, and take a penalty. In real life the mechanics have to move square box with the whole team, and that takes a little time
nah, in real live u would calculate... for example before the race u see it has 50 laps, than u tell ur crue, u wanna come into pits in lap 25 thats it.

and even if u come earlyer, u just tell it your crue for example when u get into the lap u wanna come into pit. than the crue would need maximal 15 secs to get ready.

even if u would call them when u re entering the pits, and your crew would be at the end of the pit, the would be ready when u come :S

Yes, agree....I thought at one time about two or three seconds, enough so that other pilots are not suddenly in the space of the box called occupied (with cones materialized), as it is common for other pilots occupy the space of other box unemployed persons to enter and exit the box itself.
