Price Management System?
ok my dad is getting pretty mad becuase he can't find anything for price and food management program, so i'm asking here to see if any of you guys happen to know of anything.
The requirments are that he wants to add the ingediants and the weight of how much and then he wants to be able to put the price in for everything and then be able to change the price of milk on the price list and the program automaticly changes the price for all the recipes becuase the price of milk had gone up or down.
Or kinda what i'm talking about is a price manegment program that restruants or food changes use.
So do you have any ideas or sugestions?

Couldnt you set that up in ms excel/spreadsheet?
Yeah, excel would be perfect for something like that.
ya but is it possible to put the price in and when you change the price on one ingredient the cost of all the other recipes that use that ingredient change?

Ive done a simple system for you.

The first screenie shows bassicly how it looks. I've set it up so you set the price of the ingredients per kg. And the price of milk per ml. But im not a food person so i have no clue how things would be priced. You could change it so that ingredients are set by grams instead of kilograms.

Second screenie shows that if you change the price of milk the total price of milk will change, and so will the total cost for each recipe.

Third screenie just shows screenie two again.

Fourth screenie just shows that if you change the ingredients in a recipe the price changes along with them, look at recipe 3. (BUT you HAVE to change the code so that the total changes with it. If you just change the name of the ingredient it will still be showing the price for the previous ingredient.)

Hope it helps somehow Smile

Edit:
Link to download it. I've saved it to work with any excel between 97-present. Tell me if something goes wrong.

Obviously it'll need a bit of cleaning up but hopefully that should work great for you. If you need anymore help feel free to ask.
(Whoo ICT lessons acctually have a point XD)

Edit: If you want to add a new ingredient to a recipe/change the ingredient make sure you change the code in total so taht it times the price of the ingredient (in the top left corner) by the ammount of the ingredient that is used in the recipe.
