Im not sure this is the right place to post this but anyway.
Can anyone help me on this. I use photoshop to make skins with, but in the few hours it takes from start to finish when i go to save i get the messgae "file name : fzr_skin was left open and cannot be saved" or something like that. Means to save i have to save under a different name, which sometime leaves me with 4 or 5 psd files of the same skin, as i cannot delete them as for some reason i get the message "cannt delete file was left open or is in use".
Anyone know how to stop this?

You're right, this is not related to LFS and the problem is very generic. However let's try.
You cannot delete those files since they are left in use by some application/utility. Some of those utilities can be very hard to track down because they work at kernel level: they include antiviruses and firewalls that intercept the calls to the operating system because they have to open files before the operating system does. I had a similar problem with files randomly locked by Sygate Personal Firewall, but opening and closing the file without modifying it removes the lock or, without doing that trick, exiting completely the firewall would give the same result. Disabling it was not enough. You can also try using Handle and Process Explorer from www.sysinternals.com to try to track down open handles (in this case, files) and relate them to the process that opens them to investigate further.
I would also suggest scanning the disk and checking the NTFS permissions of the open files, although the message doesn't hint at NTFS security problems or at disk problems.

Its only photoshop that does this and its only recently started doing this, but ive had photoshop on my comp since ive had it which is about 7 months or so. It is weird, i wouldnt of asked really but some of my skins are in excess of 30 mb so when ive got about 25 skins starts taking alot of room on HD especially when they are saved 3 or 4 times over.
