What next the Government take even more control of the economy and f%ck it u.... oh they ARE doing that too!

Shocking. This government closses the noose on liberty even further. It is, for the record, complete codswollop that the PM didnt know about it when the Major of London did and warned against it, therefore the Torry party knew prior to the event - why not Labour?

I find it very interesting, I expected to find streets paved with gold, however I found an economy that can, and will suffer as much as ours, overpriced food, overpriced housing, no free healthcare, wierd weather, hot-cold-warm-cold, a massive fast food and consumerist society.

Governments lieing to the public isn't a new thing, and isn't restricted to certain countries.

Over an issue like arresting opposition ministers I expect and demand transparency. Anything less is an automatic cause for voting their opposition. We can't have a government committing political arrests and denying all knowledge, this isn't Zimbabwe. I expect nothing short of the PM publicly appologising and admitting he's perverted the course of democracy, anything less and we should do to him what we did to Zimbabwe: Ban his country from cricket.

That is true, but the UK is potentially in a much much worst economic position. Of course the Government are doing 'all they can' when in fact them being involved at all in the 'Free Market' is what caused all this f'in sh1t in the first place!

Surely it is more embarrassing for us to be allowed to continue playing.

Anyway, from what I can gather, the arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation into leaks.
It could quite easily have been a Labour MP arrested.

The MPs are going into recess, it's the last day for the Iain Blair (most politicised Police Head in history), AND certain events in India help bury this news story somewhat?

And please explain why a specialist unit of anti-terror Police were needed to rade a middle aged politicians home?

MANY laughed at David Davis when he kicked up a fuss not too long ago...and just like Peter Schiff (USA economist who predicted this economic crash while other so called 'economists' laughed at this 'crazu' concept) he's been proved 100% right!

The timing with regard to events in India I don't know about.

The US Government is driving the states into a depression with there deeply flawed economic plans. Once they do it will be VERY hard to leave America once your in without being taxed to death!

Strange story. Aren't MPs given immunity in the UK for cases like these? I could understand they'd prosecute a policeman (or any other public servant) who leaked confidential information, but not an MP. Can't risk MPs being intimidated by arrest, or even by questioning.

And if the arrest was based on some law, I wonder how the Tories voted when it was passed...
