Humm, shame they started developing the standard Scirocco.
This one would have been nice in LFS.

I have seen the new 'normal' (non-sport) Scirocco and they are really nice, so this should be even nicer.

DAMN IT!! You have got to stop showing these modded Scirocco's. They may look very nice, but they are just gonna make people wish these versions were in LFS.

And you wonder why most LFSers of the old order didn't want real cars in LFS; we get the "why not this version? why not that model? Why not the other marque? Why is the speedo slightly wrong? How come I can pull 0.98g and the real car can only do 0.91g..." people. It's going to be so annoying.

Now I wouldn't say that. I mean people realize that this is still a game (even tough it's a very good simulator) so I guess they won't mind if it isn't exactly like the real version.

you could also do it like this, WHEN the scirocco comes in LFS just throw a skin like this on it and use LFS tweak to give it same specifications.....et voila! you have yourself this car

I don't think you'll see it before jan-feb really.. Scawen said they had a lot of work to do with it, and in x-mas time I'd bet they have to lay some off the work to coop with the family and such

So, my suggestion is to think of a release early in 2009.

maybe the devs will make the race version too or the gtr.

Has that been a problem in any sim that has real cars in it?

If the real car has 7% more grip in the sim then it mean something is seriously wrong with it, and can be fixed to suit. With fantasy cars you can make them do what you want without having to make allowances for the reality. You can get away with a lot more.

and the responce to that would be that the real car doesn't drive on virtual tracks or roads that have no dust or rubbish on them. the air is purer in the virtual world too. so,,they could say that the Scirocco is a perfect match to its real life version but the enviroment is not.
and for someone to say that they hear blah blah blah is one of the most uncreative ways to begin a rumour. at least put some effort into it. you could of said you was staying at one of the devs houses and it was part of a discussion. you know, really go for it.

Somehow, I agree with you. It looks more like a hatch rather than a coupe, and the new MK6 GTI has got 10bhp over, and looks sportier than the scirocco. It's only a MK5 Golf GTI with a pretty shell.
