some track advice please

Hi All,

I have been playing for about 3 weeks - and have brickwalled for the time being at bl gp in the 1:35s.

I fancy a change - what track is a good progression from bl gp ?

Hi -

Can anyone tell me - if I want to run two computers on network at home, to have a local only two player race - do I need to have a license on each machine, or can register my existing licence on both?

Any advice appreciated on this.

Not a very serious post - but work is slow today!

Has anyone tried driving LFS when a little over the limit?

I came in from the pub last night, and couldn't resist a bit of practice - rolled at the hairpin at BL GP twice, tried again, but even after 20 laps, could only get within 2 secs of my best lap.

By the way, I never drink drive for real - and on last nights evidence, I don't understand how people do...

yeah i know what you mean - a fast guy sent me a setup the other night, with longish ratios (xf gti) but too much understeer for me - maybe I will combine his gears with the suspension from inferno

just every time I start to toy with setups myself, i end of getting lost in them - perserverance i guess

I use the inferno setups actually - I really like them.

I have been spectating some real fast guys, and I seem to be taking the right lines, and braking in the right places, but can't break out of 1.37s / couple of times in the 1.36s.

I know its me, not the setup - but just trying to learn a bit more.

I drive a Ford Cougar V6

and previously -

escort rs turbo (blew up/thats what you get for 200 bhp out of old 1.6 8v)

as you can see the rs turbos were quick but unlucky!

re gear ratios / final drive
do most people go for a long set or a short set for bl gp ?

obviously top speed important on the long straight - but quite a few bursts of acceleration needed also...

I use a Thrustmaster Force Feedback GT - can be picked up cheap on ebay.

I have no problems with it - strong and easy to setup.

I actually have two, as I run two machines on a Lan at home for racing, so that shows how much I like them!

Have had for a couple of years for GP3, GP4,TOCA etc and they are still like new.

I recommend.

Just saying hello in general!

I race under the name of goshumi - and have been racing for about a week.

I can regularly run 1:37s, but have got 1:36s a couple of times.

Now i have hit a brickwall and seem to be getting slower!
