i'll give it a go if you guys are still doing this.

for the car i'd suggest using anything but the most commonly used car/track combos used on the pub servers.

your right. but wow. i'm so lost.

on my computer/local time it states my time as noon right now (12am). my computer clock states my time as being GMT-8:00. (also referenced here:http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/) which would make gmt 8pm right this moment. yet....

it clearly states it as 17:00/5:00pm.

... my computer must have some issues with its time adjustments.

eh, well either way. i wont be able to stay up for that long to show you guys how its done.

have a good race all.

have fun.

Quote from DaveWS :Feel free to change or do you what you want or with them.

P.S. Did you try the second user file which I posted for the samples?

yes. i'm not sure how to actually use it.

unless i just click the "user" box in the mixer.

id sill like to be able to address the mixer to certain sounds however, ive added a few sounds of my own.

Quote from DaveWS :@exhausted mule: What sound samples? I have no issue with people using my samples

Quote from DaveWS :I spent a good part of 5 hours trying to make these new BF1 sounds, and I am still not happy with them. The reason for making these sounds is that the sounds which come with the carsound ReMixer are from a V10 engine, and not from this years V8.

The samples I have attatched are taken from this years BMW Sauber F1 car. Unfortately the upload limit required that I had to upload two .rar files, but you need to combine them back into the same folder for them to work. I also did not upload any shifting sounds, but you can add these later.

The bf1 sounds provided in this post.

They sound great though i'd like to change volume/pitch activation time of other sounds gathered for shifting, backfire ect ect.

easy way to tell if bottoming the chassis?
exhausted mule
S2 licensed
i'm looking for a way to tell if my chassis is bottoming on high speed corners with a low suspension setting.

i noticed i can hear a type of grinding sound and that if set to low (in the pits) the force meter of the suspension turns red,

however, i'd like to be able to measure the travel/height ratio of the chassis on a hard braking highspeed entry.

thanks for any help and sorry for any ignorance, i'm still digging in on these settings.

i'm curious. what program are you using to see that tire display on screen?

that would help tremendously in determining the life of the tire.

edit:

Just tried the server and everything seems good to go. I have a mic and will be able to join in.

Might i add, this is an interesting course to start.

hidden depths but not so obvious as you might think. Any idea on pit strategies, how many are allowed (or has that been discussed allready?)

I will be practising on the server this week to get setup and my name is:

exhausted mule

see you on the track!
