I'm very happy with that decision.
By merging the current tyre physics into the new development version (DX11, multithreading, 1000 Hz engine, better graphics) we can get the updated version sooner, while the new tyre physics can be added later on.
LOD2 tris could be reduced a bit, also the LOD3 skins mappings are mirrored.
The logo is too similar to the original one, should be edited (at least letters B and W should be removed).
Hello, I have decided to share the default number plates from RB4 GT, but slightly improved with a few more triangles 70 -> 112 tris, so you can put them on your mods without a hassle.
You can download them as .veh from the attached file and adjust by moving the whole subobject with the option to scale (scale + mappings button) and then just merge to the main object:
1. Download the alternative_number_plates.zip -> extract the data folder into the LFS_EDITOR main folder (licenseplates_alt.png and licenseplates_alt1.png goes into png folder and number plates.veh into the veh folder)
2. Load the number plates.veh file -> select the desired subobject -> save it as .sre
3. Load your mod -> create a new subject -> load the saved .sre
There are 3 basic variants:
1. Default licenseplates.png with the old GB EU strip
2. Alternative licenseplates_alt.png with the new UK strip
3. An upscaled licenseplates_alt1.png with the new UK strip
