I agree completely. Don't nobody dare say the stuff they said on S3 Launch here
"If you're complaining about S3 content why did you buy it?"
"Don't buy S3 if you don't want the one track"
All those prissy 2015 comments that had no actual backbone simply because those same people couldn't keep the same energy when Triple A Developers would even dare attempt to sell a DLC or Expansion Pack unfinished,,,let alone a full game. You best Sit down and Shut up if you say it don't @ me
My actual response to the question "Where LFS is going" is: track updates, graphical updates, updates for the updates that aren't out yet, text updates DLC for update, update on the photos and progress report update that got delayed because of all the updates they gotta do, no update on the delay or update delay, oh and teasers for the update.
In my opinion there shouldn't be a point of asking where LFS is going. The Development of LFS is obviously going somewhere and it will take a while as usual...but again "in my opinion", one of those directions is criticism, because no game can be held without being subject to criticism
My only two gripe about development is It's not alright to charge $45 (really should be less thanks to brexit and the currency drop) for all of this and doesn't have mod support or anything near constant updates, let alone content. When the developers of a game criticize the buyers of their game simply for asking questions about development, to me it comes out real bad considering we gave you an investment. (find that gem here: https://www.lfs.net/forum/post/1941005#post1941005 )
I love that after 10 years, you guys are still complaining and bickering.
Don't like the game? Move on! there are so many options with motivated developers, mod support, and realistic graphics. There's no point in beating a horse on life support.
Like the Game? Continue playing it, who cares what others think, obviously you're having fun and they aren't. Go on a be an obedient lamb.
*ignore my podshots*
Also "Gu3st" aren't you banned? using an alt I see?
The last major update content wise was in January of 2017, as of today (May 2018) technically he's correct. Plus recent updates came in test patches, not actual updates to the game...therefore aren't technically apart of the full release
If thats true they might as well just do the Third Party thing because I don't think they feel sympathy for anyone who paid for literally 1 track, with no promise of a full release (bare in mind they even sold it at full price)
Why don't the Devs just release a SDK so people that have free time can literally do what they've been trying to do for years.
If THUGpro can strive just by the engine alone of thug2 then hey why not?
Also about what Cargame said: I understand the point of "Its already been talked about" well yeah. If we all followed that rule what exactly would be left to talk about? Leagues that run dry after race two?
So can someone fill me in as to why you all like to defend the Developers so much. I mean they're trying and all but its been 10 whole years... I raised 2 kids in that time.
Anyways...To the subject at hand.
City Car Driving uses their own activation thingy that's pretty basic. Its actually quite hard to "crack" into it as most ones that promise to are just viruses.
In my opinion this conversation isn't really necessary because if you weigh in this issue with others, i'm pretty sure others surpass the amount of attention needed. But carry on
Also Skinzinho did nothing wrong. All he did was state very good information to the tread. if arguing is "acting like a 6 year old" then you obviously never heard of consumer criticism. I've seen worst comments from 2K customer service this is nothing to that forum.
Man I miss this community. Cargame, I'll be on your server we should talk sometime. I love to see the statistics rise after a dramatic fall during the last two years. Now that I have an actual reason as to why LFS was so slow I don't blame your devs at all. I praise your work and contribution to the Online racing world and I encourage you to keep it up. Its really great to see enthusiasm (which in my opinion was lost) and it being brought back. Also in my opinion because Brazil is special when it comes to buying licenses, I think it would be better if there waa a promotion. for example But one voucher and you can get the next one 50% off. Just to make it that their able to get a better chance to get it rather than work up to it more to buy however many vouchers they want.
Scawen is always Vague on his forum post about any new updates. Would have thought he would learn to be not so vague, but I guess not. I'm just waiting for him to add Nigel Farage as a Marshall
