I believe what he is saying, is the same as a few others have also eluded to on this thread.
We are happy to race once or twice a week on LFS, we are not holding out for a patch (though when it comes we will embrace it). We are not crying about when or if there will ever be a patch, just getting on and enjoying what we have right now.
Your options in the poll do not allow for drivers that are essentially happy but only race a couple of times a week.
I help run a league that is full of once a week racers, and we need 2 servers to fit our drivers on the grid, every week.
Talon, there have been many, many cases in our league where it has been judged a racing incident by the judiciary. I would be keen for your to pm me any issues you have regarding our system, including your ideas for a better one.
Everyone please note that Talon and I have raced many time together, without any issues and I consider him a friend, this is not an attempt by me to shoot him down.
In the league I race in the rules are quite specific, and state that if you are in the wrong, then you must stop and wait for the other driver to take his/her position in front of you before resuming, even stating that if that driver warps to the pits, then you must do the same.
There are still instances where drivers do not redress the situation and the admin/judiciary are forced to make decisions regarding the incident. At this time it is important that a fair and just decision is handed out.
I think it is important that racers dont feel that they can cause an accident and take the gamble that the punishment handed out by the admin/judiciary will be less severe than if they had of stopped and redressed the wronged driver.
Victor, Live For Speed Events Australia has now been incorperated into Aussie Monday Night Racing. Whilst I was not an Admin of LFSEA I am and Admin for MNR. Just letting you know so you can either remove the forum, or move it to inactive.
Mate check out the Aussie servers, you will find league racing at www.ozbee-racing.com we cater for all levels, and will start handicapping soon. Get your s2 you wont regret it, we race nearly every Monday night.
ahhhh, finally I found it, have been looking for this section for a while.
I have found myself by default helping to run the Monday Night Racing League, and realised that we don not have a section for ourselves in this forum. In the past we have hijacked the Australasian section.
Could we formally aply for a section for "Aussie Monday Night Racing League" details can be found at www.mondaynightracing.com or www.ozbee-racing.com The Ozbee site is actually the more direct route to the forum, where all the good stuff is. If you need any more please let me know. The MNR league has been running for a number of years, and is now pretty much the only/main league left running in Australia.
Hey guys just letting you all know that Monday Night Racing is still alive and well. We have made some changes lately and now run two seperate series for Aussie and Kiwi racers. We have a Pro series for the quick and sometimes serious racers, and we also have a Clubman series for the drivers looking for some fun in their racing.
We are also developing a driver seeding list and looking towards some handicapped events.
Currently we are in the middle of a Pro/Am drivers swap series, and have a poll running to help decide the next car for the year.
Monday Night Racing is online nearly every Monday night, with qualifying at 9pm (AEDST)(NSW) and racing starting shortly thereafter. There is racing for all levels of talent.
Come on over for a look at www.ozbee-racing.com or www.mondaynightracing.com
