I have yet to find a server that can avoid faggotry long enough to complete a race. But if you like racing the XRT, there's about 40 servers dedicated to them running right now. Click "Demo" next to S2 and you'll see them all.
S3?? Work on S1 and 2 please. This game is inherently broken. Why can't I see S1 servers on the S2 list? Why can't demo racers see skins? Why are people "cruising" more than racing? This game is just broken in more ways than one, and until its fixed I see no reason to waste another dollar on it.
LFS is just boring, it sucks... there are so many better racing sims out there. S2 was a major waste of money since there are more demo racers on at any given time. That's my opinion. Anyone who disagrees is a so-called "lfs fanboy" if you ask me.
Here's something simple for everyone, a Ferrari skin for yor FZ50. Its based on a Ferrari 550 without the scoop on the hood. I might do a more detailed Ferarri skin in the future, this was just from cruisin' with.
Anyone can use it if they want to, just let me know if you like it!
GTR2 seems to be where lots of people have gone. In terms of advanced features and realism that game is top notch. I still drive on LFS servers once in a while, it runs really well on my computer at work. Mostly I've been spending time driving GTR2 though.
Yeah, that's called: "I have no class." These people are probably living off of welfare, they seem so desperate for someone to buy them a game, its like a group of orphaned children begging you for your change. :twocents:
This would be cool if I paid to have everyone else be able to download my high-res skin, rather than me download theirs. That way my car will look good no matter if other people pay or not.
Isn't 2048 high-res? Someone was saying 1024 is, but uhh.... well you should allow 2048 skins as well.
First of all, I thought the uploaded skins were 1024 to begin with and 2048 was high-res, lol. I voted "I won't pay for high-res" simply on the principle of it. That is not enough of an upgrade to pay for, and while you're at it, care to pay me for making my skins high res and clean looking? That's silly!
However, if I decide to upgrade to S2, the extra couple dollars will likely go in for the high-res skins. I'm just not that thrilled about a high-res option, I would rather see new rally tracks or new cars before I see a new checkbox in my graphic options. I'm surprised we should even have to pay for something so simple.
This skin is for the XRT. This is my fourth LFS skin now, done in Photoshop from scratch. I found all the logos online and did the paintwork myself. I added carbon fibre to the hood and bottom edges front and back. I included the high res version for you to see the details. I hope you like this skin, it took me a considerable amount of time to complete; please do not modify it in any way.
This is the first I've heard about it. I never use manuals or training programs unless its too complicated to understand (or too simple for that matter.)
Hey guys, I really like the logo. STCC or CTRA, they both mean fun to me. I'll have to join as soon as I get some free time. Thanks a lot to Becky for making all this possible in the first place, and thanks to the UKCT team for all your hard work.
@SamH - I appreciate your comment actually, I'm a jerk most of the time. You're right though, rFactor isn't really that great anyway. Hey I was jumping a bit far to conclusions earlier, damn I was upset to see nowhere to race this afternoon. I'll buy S2 still, I need to clear off my credit card this week.
The STCC was the only thing keeping me here for the past month. It was some of the most fun and clean racing I have ever experienced online. If the STCC were to ever return, I would finish my license to Gold and then purchase S2 exactly like I had planned before.
As long as there is an STCC server running, this game is worth playing to me.
STCC was all S1 licensed racers had to look forward to. With all honesty the STCC is the one thing I liked most about this game. This has confirmed that I will not be purchasing S2 and instead, I'll be moving on to rFactor.
Take care all. I'm sorry to the STCC team for it not working out, you put a lot of hard work in and it payed off, yet the LFS community and developement team decided to ignore that. I think this will be the number one reason why I'm leaving.
