+1 It depends on the driver in my opinion whether he feels where the steering wheel is pointing or he has to keep an eye on it.
Other than that there is still the option of keeping the animation on for those that like it and off for those that don't, through the options menu. Just like it is right now but with a bit more complicated animation....
Probably it's a bit high since mine is at 57C (when i play LFS at least). As said before a good way to improve temps is to make the airflow in your case better. Make sure that your pc tower is not put with it's back or front close to the wall. You might need to open the side panel to keep the air fresh/cool. And if you have to buy fans, a case fun is much cheaper than a GPU fan.
As for Greece, I guess that the only gold medal that we will take in Beijing will be in "most-athletes-kicked-out-cause-of-doping" . We have the lead with 15 athletes being positive to the anti-doping test .
I would like to make a request for a personal helmet if anyone is willing to make one. It doesn't have to be too complicated, just have some black elements as my favorite color is black. Another color that might match is red or yellow. A pattern that seems nice is this: http://www.lfsforum.net/images ... atars/avatar143479_14.gif . Again, it doesn't have to be a copy of that or be that complicated. Anyway, I will use this helmet as my all rounder one, in leagues and in public races.
Thanks in advance,

P.S. My nationality flag is greek so feel free to use it on the skin if you want.
I noticed that brake disks in garage have something like pixels that don't match the rest of the car (see attached pictures). I thought I should say that in case it's a bug. Zoom the picture to see it better, it's more see able in-game. It happens in Y30 and after. I also use AA at full. This happens in every car at the same spot.
Obviously, someone with a shifter and manual clutch is slower on braking points and that is because your right foot has to be lifted off completely from the accelerator and press the brake pedal while in auto clutch the brake pedal can be pressed with your left foot while your right foot is still pressing the throttle. That's about one tenth in each braking required corner and let's say the track has five of them so you are already half a second behind. That does not apply when you use auto clutch and h-pattern shifter imo. Anyway, I even find auto clutch as a disadvantage when button clutch comes into play, for example pecholobo's hotlaps. Shifting with a button clutch gives you about two tenths on a straightaway compared to an auto clutch and better stability/control of the car at some corners (the last one is my opinion).
Well maybe the reason why some people won't use a shifter for their hotlaps is that it is a lot more difficult to do a decent time with H-pattern than an auto clutch or paddles. By the way, I used to drive and race with my shifter some time ago but the effort i put on it in order to win was a lot more than paddles so instead I only drive and hotlap with paddles... I used to win and enjoy most of my H-pattern races though!
Actually, it would be better to have this as an option, not force people to use it. Maybe it would also be useful if there would be a league with shifter-only drivers... Anyways, this is just my opinion.
Well personally I was a bit hesitating as well when I bought Vista. The best solution that helped me a lot was installing Vista on my second HDD and keep XP on my previous one. That let me use both of them, which seemed very handy and you don't have to choose only one of them and be afraid that you might not like it etc. Think about that only if you decide to spend some more money on a second HDD, although you might find that choosing which OS you like everytime you reboot might become a bit frustrating at some times .
I know this is an old thread but since i was wondering the same thing with R.Kolz I decided to post here some pre-Y hotlap times that I still have in replays:
If someone else got some, please post them here if it's not a problem. I also decided not to put any lfsw names on the hotlaps just in case. I'm not 100% sure that all of them were the WR laps..
