Hey WOZ and everyone else, I live in CHCH, in St Martins. We are so lucky, I was at work in rolleston just out of chch and felt the 6.3, we thought it was near the original fault line, but it wasn't till a work mate rang her sister and to hear she was trapped in a building did it struck us that it was near the city and had caused massive damage.

My partner works in Westfield Riccarton Mall, which is our largest two storey shopping mall, greatful that she got out fine. I'm 29 years old and have never been so scared in my life! heading back into town and seeing smoke from the city centre rising on the horizon, driving for 3hr's the same distance on a normal day at the same time it would take 20min's!

As I said at the top I was lucky, we had no real damage to the house that we can see and only lost all our pantry contents. Floor speakers fell over and damaged the wall and cat disappeared for a few days. ( just had shake then! )

Friends and workmates lost family in friends, it is still very scary for us all. I know floods can be just as deadly, but you can see a flood come and go, earthquakes you can not!

My [TC] Ban story is........

Some loser was ramming me, the 3rd time they rammed me a [TC] Admin came into the server. they saw me flying along the straight and hitting head-on because the "Rammer" had crossed the white line and hit me. I got angry and swore at them. I got a 3day ban! I asked the admin that banned me why I got banned. They replied for offensive language, which I agreeded with and had no problem. I asked if the other person had been banned the reply was no, so I sent my replay to the admin. I ended up getting banned for longer for wasting there time. I got annoyed and posted my whole PM posts with the admin as they were very rude! I got banned for longer again 3months!

Yip, I agree [GLOW] members have always been great to cruise with in the [TC] servers, and sometimes race with. Don't know many of them now, but remeber the likes of Jason, Mk2 etc

I always use a couple of combo's:

FZ5 @ KY2R
LX6/TBO'S @ WE1R

FZ5 is awesome to push the limits with on KY2R and a good pack of online players!

Yeah Tried changing that Force Feedback option, you can select for example #2 and turn ffb off, it will turn both off, but still wont allow you to ffb on #1.

Hmm... anyone else got ideas?

Hi, Just curious if anyone has done this before. I have a G25 and a Logitech Rumble pad 2, I was wanting to use the g25 and add the rumble pad for extra buttons ( I mean just assigning), I have done this, but seem to loose the force feedback on the G25, anyone got any ideas? cheers.

Yip the USB idea works. I have a decent headset that uses 3.5mm ports, so purchased this item from our version of ebay here in New Zealand, www.trademe.co.nz.

Just curious, When racing I use Ventrilo. I use a headset for Ventrilo and a Home Speaker system for LFS sound. I was wondering if I could separate the sound of vent to just come through the headset and not the Speaker system and have LFS just come through the Speaker system and not the headset?

Would a USB headset for Ventrilo and the audio out port for the LFS separate it?

It took me a good a couple of minutes to work out how to turn the limiter off

PAYPALL doesn't work with all Debit Cards, I have a UK Debit Card which I use on most sites, but my New Zealand Debit Card won't work on any. So I have used a NZ Creidt Card with PAYPAL. So it does depend on what Country you bank is in.
I don't know about setting up bank account's on PAYPAL, so can't comment. But I have experienced different Codes such as "ABN's" between banks around the world. Some have them, some don't. So maybe some accounts can't be set up with PAYPAL.

I run a G25 and a logi Rumble pad 2 in a ACER laptop no probs!

I use a laptop and have two controllers plugged in at the same time.
Logitech Rumble Pad 2 and a G25. I have never noticed lower FPS's.

My house mate bought a newer model, and it runs good aswell.
I wanted a XPS dell notebook, but out of my budget.

Have a look around the net for my model, I bought mine and my house mates from a shop here in london.

Well... I think I'm in the minority group, I use a laptop full time to play LFS ( no desktop ), I have had no problems playing the game, with always 45+ fps with full grid, mostly around 70+ fps.

Always online play, and also connect my g25 to this, looks kinda funny, but good setup.

I have played this couple of times, after it took like 3days to download, its "updates!", interesting, has ghost mode for noobs, so you cant crash into each other! should do that on the demo servers here!

Got to admit that I do like the sound of the rx7 when I test drive it, nice rotta!

But for some reason it keeps on changing in to "N" when im driving!

Back to LFS I go!
