Does mean data of type Steer this not there is an angle of rotation of steering wheel? The fact is that it is not important what in you controller of Mouse or of Steering Wheel. Of the point of view of the formation of data for LFS they are identical. There is displacement of Steering Wheel in the preset angle and there is displacement of Mouse up to the specific distance, which is also equal to the angle of rotation of steering wheel already in LFS. Difference between data type Steer and data type Wheel angle in the presence of Ackermann and toe?

1. Why the minimum step of a change in the angle of rotation of steering wheel is equal approximately to the angle of rotation of wheels (Avr Front)? Gear ratio from steering control to the wheels for GTR for example 540/24=22.5.
2. The design accuracy of the fixation of the angle of rotation of the steering wheel G25 is equal to 0.1 degree. Why the minimum step of a change in the parameter of Steer on the telemetry of 0.03 degrees? (speedreduce 0, reducehalf 50, Wheel Turn Compensation 0).

legoflamb, why problem?
Realy i have LFS folder in XP and LFS folder in Vista. But LFS folder Vista almoust all folders in \DATA have symbol links on \DATA LFS folders Windows XP. Yes, cfg.txt Vista and cfg.txt XP different, but it very good for me. Grafic options Vista and XP different in my case.

My example organization symbol link data/skins in Vista:
cmd
K:\Users\Aleg>mklink /D M:\Game\Simul\LFS\LFS_S2_ALPHA_Z_V\data\skins M:\Game\Simul\LFS\LFS_S2_ALPHA_Z_XP\data\skins

I'm afraid you cannot use one LFS folder in two OS's. The unlock mechanism
of LFS depends also on OS fingerprint, so that's the reason why LFS appears
locked again in the other OS.
The only solution is to create two LFS folders, one for each OS.
Maybe you can create a shortcut for some of the data folders, such as skins?
I don't know actually if that works.

Good idea "create a shortcut for some of the data folders". But need NTFS and command "mklink /D" in Windows Vista SP1. This is no shortcuts, this is symbol links on folders LFS from Windows XP. 2 Gb my LFS folder XP. Vista use this folders from XP and all changes is common for both OS's.
Absolutly right about folder MISC. This folder different for XP and Vista. And no problem with unlock.

migf1, button (manual) clutch, axis clutch and autoclutch is options LFS. Why you "prohibit" use option? In other side axis input clutch also way for macro. Prohibit axis clutch?
Now I see only one way to stop battle "macro problem". Decrease time interval autoclutch on ~50ms if it possible.

Gearshift not activate if level manual clutch (axis or button) is less 90% (89,88 ...). Instant Hotlap Analyser on site lfsworld.net don't accurate instrument and cann't be argument.

Anybody answer me, why time autoclatch 230-250 ms, but no 150 ms?
I on my risk say: time autoclutch 150 ms almoust close problem scripts (cheaters).

Töki (HUN), cheaters no, scan USB yes.

Remark. G25 have 500 Hz USB. DFP 125 Hz. Users G25 is cheaters, they play LFS in 4 time frequently.

Arco, go back your hotlaps. You are not cheater.
G25 is cheaters construction, mouse also cheaters construction. And what we will do? No play LFS?

About advanced control mouse. This is first small step only, but it is good.
If it is of any interest to you, criticism:
1. When combined Thr/Break, centering axis Y fasten centering screen monitor. D't do this! Centering axis Y must be fasten current value axis only.
2. When you use axis Y as one axis, devide not active. It's not good idea.
3. Why you ignore axis Z (scroll) mouse? Please realize.
4. Min devide axis X must be < 1. This is consequence difference resolution difference mouses.
5. That is enough now.

I drive on mouse (MIME 3.0). I have axis steer, separate axis throttle and break, axis clutch, i do heel&toe very easy. When you analyze my replay, you d't difference, what i use only mouse but no wheel and paddle. I not have only FF. But i use third person soft, and soft old and not working on Vista. I (and more other racers) interesting advanced useful mouse directly in LFS.

Microsoft isn't fault. Mouse, as device, have 2axis (3, scroll axis also) on definition. Program turn off for example axis X and work with only axis Y generally not possible. But is possible mechanical fix "left mouse" on axis Y and fix "right mouse" on axis X. It is non standart solution, but two mouse not standart solution also. )
I solve my problem with mouse in LFS little in an other way. I have analog throttle, analog brake and correct control clutch. In Windows mouse work as a rule.

Throttle/brake is axis and button control rate not give effect this. Give effect Thr/brk Centre Reduction, but i recommend not use this in LFS and let alone (0). Centre Reduction adjust in DXTweak2.exe separatly for throttle and brake. It's very good idea. In DXTweak2 you can create profiles for other auto. Apply profile in DXT not demand calibration in LFS.
But if you apply another settings in jconfig, I must know this.

Rules calibration in LFS:
1.Control-> Axes/FF.
2.Press Recalibrate axes.
3.2-3 time move mouse axes X and Y full diapason, scroll move forward/back on four click and fix clutch full or none.
4.Press Lock.
5.Press Recalibrate axes again!
6.2-3 time move mouse axes X and Y full diapason, don't move scroll, d't move I say!!!
7. Lock.
8. Go!
