Surprise surprise, I thought Logitech have stopped making wheels but here we are. Apparently the G29 Driving Force:
On the face of it, it just looks like a G27 wheel with some DF GT buttons and some extra buttons. People are also saying that it will offer support to both PS3 and PS4 and I would think that PC will also be supported but I've not found any confirmation regarding that. A shifter box can be seen in the background of the first picture.
I haven't found much details regarding its functionality and some people are actually doubting that it's real, but I guess we'll have to wait and see.
I've seen a pic in a different angle which clearly shows that Bianchi's roll hoop completely gone from the impact like the pic above but I won't link to the pic here. This is definitely not good.
So some of us may have already conquered the already challenging QWOP and/or GIRP, but let's see how you fare on this little game...
I wish you the best of luck.
Start menu or Windows key + R, type Dxdiag, hit [enter]. Use one of the buttons below saying something like "store all information to file", save file. Attach file to one of your postings here.
File's attached to this post.
Edit: As we speak, I'm trying to sort out the bench marking but fraps doesn't seem to be recognising my LFS. Though when running the replay, I've not noticed any stuttering though it might be due to the fact that the replay was recorded on 6B
Edit 2: Odd. LFS seems to have stopped stuttering now even though I haven't made any changes since creating this thread. Not sure how it fixed itself.
Are you forcing any setting (AA, AF...) on your driver? Now that LFS uses DX9 some things behave diferent.
Hmm, no I haven't got anything like that enabled.
Looking around the main thread, there's something with Windows 8 users with the new version. I run on Windows 8 myself but unlike some people I'm able to launch LFS, albeit with fps stuttering.
Since my post might drown in the main 6F thread, I figured that I'll post it here.
It's pretty much as it says in the title - ever since I got 6F my fps seems to keep stuttering. I haven't had this problem since I first got LFS at Patch X, and the split second stutter really affects my driving
Anyone else have this? I doubt it's anything to do with my specs since I was able to run LFS fine using that same machine.
Edit: I'm running Windows 8, and it appears that people running that have problems on the new version from what I've seen on the main thread.
I can't help but feel disappointed that they haven't got the good ol' Super Touring cars
Oh well, there's still the Super Touring car mod for GTR 2 if I want to go around Donington in my Primera with a full grid during a thunderstorm. http://blog.codemasters.com/gr ... discipline-focus-touring/
A very fun and hectic online card game when played with your friends... http://pyz.socialgamer.net/index.php
If you ever heard of Card Games Against Humanity, this is exactly the same principle. Google it if you don't know how it words but each round, you get a selection of white cards with some random sentences or words, and these must fill in the blanks on the black cards. The judge for the round gets to choose the best combination(s).
...Honestly, it's better if you tried it for yourselves. Maybe we can get a massive LFS Forum game up.
