having problems with unlock, I think that the unlock every friday is an ok system when everything is working fine... but I have had some issues with xp recently and everytime i had a system crash, xp would load a known working version and then i would have to unlock LFS, Now this is ok when the system is near the Lan, but mine is in the garage and everytime i have the issue i have to lug the dam thing in and wait a week to unlock.. Now i do love LFS but this only seems to have been a problem since i installed "Y"... If it was just a case of bringing in the pc then , ok i can accept that, but having to wait a week... I realise that this helps preventing piracy etc, and i do agree that online verification is a necessay evil, but why not just take the bios serial (from the dmi pool) or work out a system like big brother (microsoft) and use hardware verification then if the hardware has had a major change then wait a week, otherwise the system works out the licence is legit and allows instant authentication...

hope you can understand all that,

so i guess for now i will have to wait and hope the machine doesnt crash again after the next unlock....

umm, very interesting.. been thinking i had an issue with the shifter!! I guess it forces you to use the config of the real car, but then again if a driver in a real car found better lap times with a gate shifter then they would have the option to install one in their car... Have to disagree with this feature of preventing us from choosing our own config.
