how do you install this?

A lot of these silly suggestions can be made in LFS tweak so you can enjoy them without burdening everyone with a poor choice of car.

Is it possible to make say the XRT sound like the FZ5 etc? Eg I use lfstweak to make the car a 6 cylinder and swap a file to make them sound the same?

I tried swapping the .eng files but it doesn't change anything, is this possible to do?

Yeah I can play the replays in S1 but would be nice to tweak the graphics a little.

I have loads of replays from S1A of me and some mates drifting for hours, I was wondering if there is any way to convert them to S2 for the nicer graphics. I'm assuming there is issues with the different physics but it can't hurt to ask.

The guy I did it with has since died and wanted to make some nice screen shots of all 6 of us door to door drifting, I will settle for the older graphics if there is no way to do it though.

How do I actually turn this application on? I've got it running and followed the installation guide its just that it does nothing. I've got it loaded and LFS running, but nothign happens? how do I actually make it start, is there something I have to do with 'outgauge' apart from editing the cfg file?

edit: looks like most the folders are empty, do only certain cars work, or are there just no presets for half the cars?

Is there anyway to turn the turbo off for the XR Turbo?

edit: infact the entire right hand panel doesn't seem to work for the XR turbo, its a demo car, why can't I use it?

Theres my 8.6 second awd turbo v8

Heres my random 9.3 Litre V8, its just something I made up.

I made it drive like its got a massive cam so its mostly top end power, sounds nice as well. 700hp @ 7600rpm

Ive also included a turboed drag version version with 2700hp @ 8800rpm which runs 8.6 with minimal wheelspin

and yes its just chance that almost all of the numbers ended up being 1.

thats just the sound of a skyline dubbed over the top thats not s3 and thats not how its going to sound.

However itd be awesome if it did sound like that.

If you get minimechanik change the 'time to rev' to a smaller value. If you set it to .00001 the turbo spools up almost instantly giving crazy wheelspin without changing anything else.

Yeah I didnt mean for it to be realistic I just wanted someone to try it with the bov noise so the turbo cars crackle a bit. Thought it would be a nice wanky sound effect.

Hey I've got an idea but Im not very good at sound editing so maybe one of yoou guys could give it a whirl.

Anyway with the turbo cars take the blowoff noise and then add backfires after it for say 10 seconds, so say if you rev the motor out and then throttle off it will pop and crackle and stop as you get back on the throttle. I know it won't be rev dependant but I think it could sound pretty cool.

Do you guys think this would be possible?
