but E30 is not M3. M3 is the sports-verison of the BMW 3 Series.
E30 is the specific identification of the age of a BMW-3-Series-model ( E30, E36, E46 and the new E90 do all have a M3 fo example ^^)

I took the photo for the textures from a BMW 318i Touring (E30) build in 1989 - can see that one in my attachment

no idea, tried everything, but it's not only at my skins. So graphic program's fault can't be

nope sorry Nuse, my Screens @ MS show my skins very sharp, but now they are screwed...

Erm...I've done a lot of skins and some red ones and NONE has such problems. Oh and those problems are not just with this skin, all skins in my game now have such problems...

erm it worked perfectly all the time. Skins wer as nice in game as in Viewer - I had no problems. This error is actual since a few days. And I've really tried all ingame settings and outgame card settings...

My skins still work for others, but not for me

Please, anyone? I've tried everything...

I've got a problem. Was skinning a FXO and working in the CMX Viewer. Everything was displayed fine, quality was good. After finishing the skin, I just wanted to start my usual test-drive in it. But I recognized this:



On the left you can see the hard pixelled ingame-close-shot and on the right how it should look like, as it does in viewer. It's the same skin just copied from Viewer to game directory. I really do not know where it loses it's quality.
As I recognized later all skins lost their sharpness and quality ingame. From one day to another...

Can anyone help me?

I am not elite, pro, 1337 or whatever it is named. I'm just an average skinner spending a lot of time with it. It was great fun for me and it is destroyed. Thinking all those design and make them running was great and seeing others racing it too. Thanks to all the kind comments btw. But now it's time for me to leave it alone. I'm really fed up by all those, who have no imagination, no fantasy and need to adapt or steal skins from others.
Someone here asked if I have the permission to use logos and badges of Honda, Alpine etc. In fact, YES, I am officially allowed to use Honda brands and trademarks on my skins. Even if I do not need that permission, because I'm creating 100% uncommercial skins. I make no money with them, so I am allowed. Contacted Honda ages a go anyway.

Well you've won and I've deleted my skins here. No sense for me to skin on, because here is no respect to work of others. All those wannabe pros around here are annoying and adapting other's work. Is not skilled, is not pro. It's just nothing. but carry on with that. I'm done here.

I'll surrender. No sense in complaining I guess. But when u think it's fun spending hours for skinning and then find rips of your skins nearly every day and now on the official (!) page. Please try it out. illepall illepall illepall

I'm fed up and I think I will simply stop skinning. That's it. No more sorrows about that...

Sorry, but this is my skin, hardly modified. All lines are matching, even the side effect is the same. just in blue and with LfS decals.

Sorry I am really pissed. Noone asked me, told me anything or...no...that's it. I will stop skinning. It's not worth of it. No Respect. Even it's not the devs fault, may be the betatesters. That's it..

Done. And I have to add the McLaren F1 test is also great. Another BMW Engine rocks the world *hrhr* and the test BMW M3 Roadster vs. Mercedes Benz SLK AMG is funny. The female showmaster says clearly it's nt worth buying a much more expensive MB than the BMW - great great great Oh did I mention I am a BMW fan ^^
