Quote from Niels Heusinkveld :That is CERTAINLY not realistic.. LFS at 200% means you only feel two forces.. FULL or NONE.

You want your logitech profiler global device settings at:
Overall strength 105% (a tiny bit above 100 tends to help near centre responsiveness)
Spring effect 0%
Damper effect 0%
Centering spring 0%

In LFS it all depends on the car, tyre grip and most of all caster.

With 6 degrees of caster on the FZ50, you sort of max out the force feedback at ~ 25% strength in LFS!!!!

Its quite hard to do in LFS as each car is different and you can alter the steering forces a lot with the car setup..
So when you use more than 25% in this situation, it means the maximum steering forces in the sim are not recognized anymore by the wheel. Ideally you want the maximum forces that occur on the track to correspond with the maximum forces your G25 can deliver. Otherwise its like clipping audio; you loose detail and it gets a bit rough!

So are those the all around best settings for the global device settings? If so, thanks a lot. i really needed some help on that.

SUP...

SaNTi here, Just bought a S2 license after playing the demo for a while. I'm mostly a Console racer, (Forza 2) but i also enjoyed LFS a lot.

Hopefully i get my moneys worth out of the game, and hopefully get a decent wheel cause I'm currently playing with the 360 wireless controller (ARGGGH) Hope to see you guys around.
