Wow 30 laps on r1's after about 6-7 mine are pretty much done and I'm not sliding much at all so I have to address something my driving or keep tweaking my set thanks for other info so only use r2 for endurance races?

Been back from a long break lost a lot of my personal sets working on a stiff fbm set for bl1 beat my pb by .4 offline practicing, slap on some R2's I go from 113.2 to 114.8 I wanna race on a 10 - 20 lap server on Sunday but I know high 114's won t be competitive . Any advice on R2 pressure and some insight into how much slower R2's are compared to R1's. Thanks for all replies.

You are right it would be nice to have setup storage on LFS World...maybe pay a few quid for the privilege..

I can not comment if setup stealing still happens as I have not played for an age...but I would imagine so....there have been many forum topics about it over the years.

Anyway...no matter if someone had your set they would still have to drive like you...get out there and show um.

You want races join a league they are still going I'm back after 7 years and when I fired it up I was thinking damn this feels good. Just mad I lost all my setups I made they should have a storage for setups on this site I know there is setupgrid and a few of my sets where still there thank god. Just wish more people drove LRF class its all about the RAC! That is interesting about AC having so many empty servers was thinking about buying that but I think I'll pass. yeah take a look at starcraft is was a near perfect rts it didnt need alot. LFS is a work in progress and the work is painfully slow.its been more than 1 year without a update. They made the mistake of saying scirroco was coming soon. when in fact it was years away and we are still waiting i dont play lfs anymore but i understand the gripes. If you have the $ play iracing.

There is no comparing Starcraft with LFS.

do you see how many people viewed this thread like 400,000+ wow, when the car does come out i think the servers will have to be upgraded for the traffic. As much as i hate to wait even for fast food i think it will be all bliss when it comes together.

touche they said plan not promise. it been almost 2 years since that plan was announced its disappointing .

I racing is better than lfs but i dont think its worth the money. Iracing name Joseph C. Richardson. One major drawback to iracing is if i like running the Radical it might be a month of sundays before i get a full grid to race. the flow in iracing goes to the "hot" cars i remember when they released the corvette everyone was trying it for a couple weeks then it died off. What if you payed for tracks to run that series and for the car and noone runs it, it sucks. cars like the Skippy stay populated. Oval racers have it made its popular road racing you better spend your money on a popular series or your gonna get burned.

The new content that comes out is cool you see things happen fast. BUT that also is a drawback new content comes out then your series dies off becuase everyone and their momma are trying the new content.

I also despise the "no fault system". Lfs i despise the slow development broken promises same content im jsut not racing at all until lfs gets something new or iracing sends me a welcome back free trial.


Oh also Iracing did let people try for free and that didnt work it opened the flood gates for morons. The pay to play keeps the idiots out( most not all) since they want a serious platform it keeps it that way. Even though Gooden won the jetta (congrats) Modoff shouldve won IMHO he won more races. Ohh that brings another point IN a series it goes buY strength of field to see how many points you will get alot of times the higher irated poeple will run one race get max points and never race again till next week that sucks arse. because even if you win 6 races that week for a track youll never get max points if the field isnt strong. its annoying to say the least and when your paying you want to own the game not rent it you cant even test offline if you dont pay that is crazy.

Im looking for a new company small like lfs with a good product that they work on and deliver when they said they will. it that too much to ask? maybe dec 25 or new years will bring the content anounced eons ago.

RAC ownz. Its not "the masses" type of car. Its for a special niche, the drivers that take time to woo her under control. The ones that can make a set FOR THEMselves (its the best way). The ones that can dial out that corner entry understeer and the lift throttle oversteer. RAC owns, this car actually has character you want mundane drive the xfg.

I totally agree with the OP fern bay is ridiculous with the 2 foot high curbs. Its not jsut club rev its all of them. esp gold rev where you have to curb hop the first couple of curbs or green where your going very fast thru that chicane. i havent seen one real race track with every curb is a mountain. can anyone show me one? damn lfs needs more tracks. and im not that bad at fern bay and i dont flip often but cmon i love the layout but the curbs kill it worse environment in lfs.

More content isn't going bring LFS to life, Scirrocco, or whatever is it spelled, will bore everyone after month or two.

What we need is what we were told to be done by S2 Final.
Most of the physics done and that is brake fade/damage (overheating), proper engine damage, proper damage for body work etc.

Anything like that would bring much more life to LFS then any content, be it a real life track or car. Those things don't matter at this point (cars or tracks).
What we need is proper simulation of mechanics of a car/formula/etc. amd of we're patient enough, maybe we'll get to that point.

Totally disagree about the tracks. LFS is sooooo lacking in that department. and the curbs you have to hop at fern bay ridiculous. "proper" engine and brake wear i dont think will revitalize LFS nor will a new damage model for the cars if its all done on the same old tracks... 6 tracks/enviroments..cmon

actually in iracing the only car i found to have tremendous amounts of lift throttle oversteer was the SPEC FORD RACER{i have the skip and radical also} . being only demo for the moment in lfs you have xrg/xfg then fbmw try going to setupgrid.net for set ups as the default set up usually bite arse and understeer. you can get alot of lift throttle oversteer in the fbm and the xfg prolly the xrg too but i wouldnt want that in that car http://www.setupgrid.net/1/setup/hotlap/get/FBM@BL1 try the ones that say oversterry and gl with those get s2 and try the RACEABOUT youll love the lift oversteer in that car or the caterhams. but again its mostly in the setup in iracing you cant changed diffs.

ITS funny most people drive the oval in a open wheel car which i havent seen bump drafting in indy at all. its a closed wheel type deal. so i think bump drafting in a ss is cheating the physics/damage model of lfs for the momment. anyone can show me a vid of ss's bump drafting? as far as the gtr cars go sure its legit. but ss hmm....

LFS looks good but not the best Iracing is prolly the best IMO. but lfs is very clean.

LFS doesnt need more cars most of the cars are underused as it is.

Tracks hell yes this is were lfs is lacking content what is it like 6 environments? That is weak IMO. Bring on the NEW tracks and not just a new config for a old environment....would refresh LFS like lemonade on a hot summer day.

Team 400 ran/runs a lrf server the RAC is my fav car and i love the lx's also. seems there is always people posting in the forums about where is this or that server but i never see them on

well you wont see me on in a few until the next patch but the server remains up i might go and check to see if it still on RAC/FZ5 WEsthill
