I have to say that the tilt-shift effect is not very well achieved, it does more to ruin the footage than it does to enhance it. Other than that, it's a fine little movie. Maybe some more intense music could go a long way, make it more attention grabbing.
Hello. Would you kindly remove the file Ford Sierra RS (1).png from this collection?
The lights in question are originally made by me, and the kit in which they were introduced is still publicly available for download here: http://forum.city-driving.co.uk/showthread.php?tid=8577
I would not have a problem with the redistribution IF you had
1. Asked me first
2. Given me credit
3. Not mutilated the kit horribly in Paint(?) and lowered the resolution to the absolute minimum
But because I find it insulting that my work has been lowered to such a poor quality with no credit given, I would like you to remove it.
I found a few other lights which look obviously removed from the original skins with Paint or similar software, but sadly cannot point out the original creators. But I'm sure everyone here would rather if you didn't steal other peoples work without permission.
Why would you even want that? In any case, I bet you could try to make one out of the default sounds or any other sound basically. Just play around with the knobs, the fart can sound is one of the easiest to produce
I don't care when the update comes. I will be there when it does.
LFS is fantastic, and has some very unique multiplayer communities.
So merry christmas everybody.
I wish for a fix to the revlimiter problem. Since it worked perfectly before.
Today I tried downloading another copy of the program, both OG and memory versions. Neither really helped. Usually I use the memory version.
I know that a lot of people have had the stalling problem, but it worked for me BEFORE, and that's why I so eagerly wish to know what went wrong.
EDIT: I now have the revlimiter working when in neutral gear and with revs constantly high. When I release the accelerator, 75% of the time the car stalls. This also happens if I'm driving normally and/or changing gears.
It seems like the game can't read the signals as fast as before, or some of them don't come in on time.
Another thing I now noticed was that if I'm ingame, the revlimiter enable key doesn't work. I have to select the revlimiter program.
Probably should've asked at the revlimiter thread about this or send some pm's, but since this thread is alrady here I thought that I'll just continue this here.
If you want specific skins, just tick the "AI use player colors" box, choose the skin for, let's say, AI 1, and then add him. After that, you can change your skin, and put another AI driver that will have the skin you chose second, and when you're finished adding all the AI's, you can choose your own skin and drive off with a group of nicely skinned AI's.
Alright. I hadn't played LFS for a few days, and now I felt like driving for a bit. Well, I did some good laps without problems, but then the most random occurrence happened. The thing suddenly decided to change most of my controls to something else. My ignition was now the handbrake, handbrake was look right and horn was look left. Well, I changed them back, easy as that. But I really wonder what the crap happened?
Also, another problem that started happening after that.
I'm using davidtigers bouncing revlimiter, which i've been using successfully for as long as it was out. It never stalled before, but now it stalls almost every time it hits redline! Sometimes it bounces for a moment but then it stalls again. Why the sudden change, I'm asking? The revlimiter config doesn't seem to be changed in any way, and the bounce limiter is at 150ms as always.
The revlimiter problem has been solved: LFS Frame limiter was somehow put on and the limiting caused the revlimiter to glitch like that too. I still don't know why all the options got messed up in the first place.
Now with version 2.2 it seems to work perfectly.. Almost. I tried changing the limit range to 6400-6780 and it works, but only if I actually keep it to that point myself. Then it will bounce. If I fully depress my gas pedal it will just "jump over" the limit and won't even bounce anymore.
Thanks for your comment, it's good that atleast someone likes it!
As for the replay, I think it's very nice, I myself am not very good with the RAC, and that is also one of the cars I am mostly training on this layout!
I made this rather random layout for myself to practice precision with different vehicles. It's basically a bunch of tyre stacks thrown around and you're supposed to carefully drift through it while not hitting the tyres.
I don't know if anyone will actually find this fun, but I had some good time for a while with it.
Also great for making your sense of direction go nuts. And possibly for causing a headache. There are some chalk lines to help you out with that though.
