If I had to choose, I'd pick the MX-5, even if some say it's a hairdresser-car.

This isn't meant as a tread hijack, but I'm looking for something similar. If someone knows a program that suits my needs, it would be appreciated.

It shouldn't only copy all new or modified files, but also delete the ones that were deleted in the original and not only capable of copying 1 folder with its subfolders (e.g. 'my documents') but various folders and files from various directory's on different drives.

Great update, but there are still a few problem, mostly with the lights.

I updated from my old, standard Z to z16, my headlights were under the '6' button ('3' is used for my ignition).
When I pressed '6' the lights came on but when I released the button they went out again, just like in the standard Z. I tried it with both the XFG and the XRG. If I change the light button back to '3', nothing changes. I haven't yet tried it on a fresh install of patch Z.

Another thing, I really like the lights inside (shift up, handbrake, indicators and headlights), but the position of them changes, cockpit view is different from chase view.

I also seem to have lost the ability to keep the indicators on as long as I press the button and don't touch any other button while holding the indicator. Maybe a small change/improvement, if it's possible, could be to separate the left and right indicator so you can see on witch side the indicator is on.

V / TAB / P / HOME / F1 / F2 / F3 / F / SHIFT+M / N work in options-thing works most of the time, in works in every category in options except 'options > controls'.

So you want it to look like its in a real car, like some people did here? If so, you may find this interesting.

When you use your normal LFS it might be possible (but then you're the host and unless you have a second account you can't join another server (Username in already online or something like that)). With the dedicated server probably not.

And before everyone starts screaming 'ZOMG, a demoër with tweak', I'll tell you why I'm suspecting what I wrote above:

I tried to do the same thing on my testserver (just out of interest/curiosity) when LFS Tweak Z wasn't licence protected. When I started a server from the normal game client and ran tweak on it, players with the exact same car should be able to join (Just like it would be in single player modus, but with more tweaked cars on the track. I didn't really tested the 'letting others join my server' part so I'm not completely sure). When I ran a dedicated server and wanted to connect with the normal (tweaked) LFS it said that the cars weren't the same. And yes, both dedicated and client were on the same computer.

I had the same problem with my testserver I run once in a while, I fixed it by using different ports instead (29339 & 29336 instead of 29339 & 63392, both UDP and TCP (because my router didn't have separated fields for each type)).

Because of all the people who tought that LFS Registation was a game and were contantly making new accounts on a different e-mail adress so they could earn money (a poor 4000€ maximum) faster. Witch is why the demo servers were resetted after some time, and the owner got kinda annoyed. Even later (due to lag on the S2 servers (not sure about this part)) the 2 servers shutted down.

In the beginning of the demoservers, the drugs codes (like !buy weed [amount] ) were in the insim program, so you knew the commands you could buy/sell drugs. But you couldn't see the commands in !help or something. After sometime they build a separated demo cruise insim without the codes.

Click on Extra and go to Options. Go to the general tab, there is a section called 'downloads' make sure the option that has a red square around it on the image I set as attachment is checked.



EDIT; I use Firefox 2 (in dutch), I don't know how it is in FF3 but i assume its the same.

Did you tried it? Because yesterday I hosted the same server (same configuration) under another name. In the dedicated server window appeared the text

I have a problem with a server I'm trying to host:

Sometimes it shows up in the serverlist, sometimes not. LFS Desktop (racers & hosts online) shows it everytime. And the only way to join is via 'join specific host (local network)' ontherwise (in the best case) you get to the welcome.txt text, then it goes to 'waiting for guest info' and then you get the message 'did not recive guest info, lost connection to host'.
