BTW, engines in lfs lose power if u pass the redline, say you are driving the fxr, in say 5th gear down a straight, then quickly downshift to second, it will rev past the redline, if its past the redline for a while, engine loses power, this happens with car that have enough grip to do it, some cars like xrg ect, the tyres just lock up

how bout the devs change the lfs main web page, maybe give us and update on the scirocco, i think i speak for all when i say we're getting sick of seeing scirocco postponed, and its dated mon 15 dec 2008, thats over 8 months ago, c'mon guys

there are other gauges as well, though when i tried them their needles were in funny places and moved in funny ways, so i never bothered with them, just to let ya know, it took me 3 hours just to get the tacho needle right

i dont know why i never thought of that, thanks, maybe people could do a number shortcut like the ones that automaticly type in smiley and good race, good pass etc

my live for speed is installed to program files folder, (not that this has anything to do with it, to launch lfs i have a shortcut for it on my desktop, it is the shortcut you need to edit the target line in, simply right click the lfs shortcut, then got to properties, and there its is, the target line

you may have to press ctrl+pageup a few times quickly while holding ctrl to get them to stay up on the screen, as for moving around the screen,
hold ctrl and use arrow keys to move them in that direction, as for needles playng up, thats a hard one to fix, or you could just use patch Z, and my shift light works fine

if u use windows vista i dont think u will be able to edit target line

and just to make it clear, the target line is in the properties of a shortcut to lfs, eg: a desktop shortcut

i use this on patch z, works fine for me and others ive helped install it, just dont make simple mistakes with it

i have used mods in demo, u cant use mods in multiplayer, it will just kick u out of server, i have mods for z, i had to mod one so it would work for z (phantom autometer gauges) i'll post gauges, lfs tweak z, layout editor, i would post others but not allowed to post modified vehicle bodies on forum

i was bored so i edited the earlier tachos, now there are left and right hand drive options available, with my own easy instructions with pictures to show whats going on, hope u like em

i forgot to mention the cut off bits on tacho, i cant seem to get it right, but heres the same monster tacho with a boost gauge best suited to right hand drive cars, btw the ingame graphis of tachos looks better than pic i gav

MIGHT NOT WORK WITH WINDOWS VISTA, so i here u cant edit the shortcut target line

hi, i have the phantom gauges mod, but the needles for them are all off from where they are supposed to be, and rotate funny, can sumone please help me? im using version z, i have attached the zip below
