Hey Guys!

Maybe Danny Engels and myself aren't completely forgotten, yet.

However, we are evaluating to run a fun event on our own.

While we were good drivers, it's been a while and we were never on the other side of the organisation using LFS.

Therefor we are looking for assistance from experienced people being able to run a server and stream comfortably and professionally.

Please let me know if you're someone like that or if you know someone who is still on top of this game!

actually the guy winning was Danny Engels who now is a manager at G2 e-sports and also helping to run Fernando Alonso's racing team. the funny thing is: lfs is now still the same game it used to be when we were there at the final

btw: we sold the car and split the money. if 60k € would have been at stake, we'd probably forgotten all our manners

very good rhandling with that situation by you guys, mercury. we should all take that as an example for further acting in future happenings.

yes, scipy has given himself an advantage which put him up on a level, where he wouldnt be at the moment. 2 or maybe 3 tenths might be possible with that "cheat". please notice, that lfs has given the possibility to do that, similiar to what we had some years ago with the buttonclutch.

the sad thing is that scipy did not stop using it when he got asked for it, and thats the only thing he should be blamed for. all in all, as jay said, he is a good guy, who does a great job especially in setup developement. he might be ahead of everyone there, and that is prolly no cheat. as far as i was able to recognize he is a fair driver on track, even if he's not nice to everyone, which definetly does not depend on someone's personal speed in lfs. some people just dont get along with each other, that will always stay a fact.

blame his acting in that special situation, but not the person scipy.

ill post the replay as soon as i have it. its sad that it seems impossible to organize a good race with 10 people after 1 year of preparation

i was jokin but the right hander when u pass under the bridge gives possibility to be on the outside curb with all tyres, that'd be some kind of cutting in his case. also the loooong right turn before that bridge. t1 can happen that way too when going into the left hander of the shicane. but no need for discussion again, as its quite obvious.

im takin nearly all kerps on kyoto, am i cutting the whole lap? should retire from lfs then

actually dreaf, it might be u being unable to do a fast lap without cutting. sorry, but i had lots of them already by just doing 215 in the chicane and hlvc not moaning at all. cutting is gay, cutting is cheating, cutting reduces penis length, dont do it that cones chris mentiones might not be too wrong.

i also wouldnt like a layout as the cones,tyres or whatever would've gone after a lap in the race anyway. further the bumps would just kill the suspension, so lets just all try to make it round the corner some hundred times on saturday. "2 tyres on track" should be the thing in quali, which isnt too impossible, isnt it?

pretty simple answer for me: one class racing, as from my experience 2 class racing never worked out and ended up in slower cars ignoring blue flags or in ridiculous behaviour while lapping, which again leads to useless crashing.

i do agree that there is a bug and theres need to fix it, but i do know how to avoid, as long as we have to. i mean how often do you actually touch walls in race? if u hit the wall with like 90kmh in a real car ure basically forced to drop from race, too. and i bet u hit the wall way faster in lfs. ok its looks more like an action movie but still the effect is the same: u cant finish if u do mistakes.
i also had races door to door with people from czech or hungary or äh (misko where're u from again? ) anyway. people i have high ping to. and still we touched each other and didnt fly to mars.

sorry for being bit rude now, but: don't do it the alonso way (i mean t1 in barcelona and t1 in usa; edit: forgot t1 in canada 4 times :P )

Hey Bawbag! No offense man but this is definetly and 100% your fault.
Before i just watched the replay i thought it was the car from behind that crashed into me, but it was the one from the right side. As we are starting in double file mode, it is quite clear to anyone out there, that there is a car on the other side of the track, and its completely stupid to change the line from right to left, knowing there is - or just might be - a car. also i started a position in front of you, and u saw me the whole time. Ok, i had to break which is unusual in this situation, but still u came to the left without really takin enough care. first corner does not win the race, did never, and will never ever. take care next time, i think the penalty is quite fair.

i dont know why uros broke in front, maybe he was just nervous starting from pole with some big red fire in the mirrors but still everyone has to pay more attention before just thinkin of his slipstream

oh uhm, just writing to moan about the new shifting limitation, its pretty unrealistic not being able to shift as fast as a human or the hydraulic system could if u just crash down the gears, im not using the new testpatch cause it simply ruins my style of brakin in front of a corner with a formula car. it would be very usefull if one could be able to adjust the "max shifts per 50ms" or something like that thank yo

Currently there is a league managing system being done, which is proposed to take care of LFS and all its possible features. we plan a lot of features, which should all work out. but it still takes some time to finish everything and think about every detail

i don't know how difficult it is to fix this aerodynamics, but somethin really has to change as soon as possible. there is no more important improvement around that i can think of. this ruins races, this ruins the whole racing thing. if u cant stay behind other cars in turns because u will definetly spin with the cars with wings then something is wrong. also the slipstream is a lot too strong. but thats what we all know already. plz scawen make this the first thing on your to do list.
