We also use 720 steering like you bro, or as per car requires. But in the time we spent researching, we found no way to impliment a check on this through the insim. Bugger ay, im a bit suss about people driving a family car with formula 1 like steering, but theres nothing that can be done for now as far as i know.

Hello Fellow LFS Drivers.

My friend Raimo and I, spent the last few months making and testing a Host that forces everyone to drive as realistically as posiible.

Our aim was to have equal driving as real as LFS can provide.

Combined with a very decent program called airio (http://www.airio.eu/), we made the NARA enforcer to ensure 100% full simulation driving.

There are 4 seperate Hosts Set up right now.
NARA Sydney - Where I hang out mostly, to practise my own stuff ect (In Australia)
NARA G25 Expert USER - Where you can go, select tracks and try out cars. (In Australia)
NARA PRIVATE PRACTICE - For NARA Team Members to Practice in Private (In Australia)
NARA OSLO - European Host (In Norway)

TEAMSPEAK IP: lfs.piiksi.com

If u feel like a challenge, and u own a G25 or a Porsche wheel, NARA enforces the following:

In-car View, No racing line (Must set view to in-car)
Steering Wheel
Axis Clutch (Manual Clutch Pedal)
H-Pattern Gear Changer (Shifter)
No Brake Help (Spec)
No Driving Backwards (kick)
No double Speeding in Pitlane (kick)
No Pitting the wrong way into pits, or leaving the pit the wrong way (kick)
Mouse and Keyboard Drivers (kick)
No Car Reset
Auto Loaded no Shortcut Layouts

So basically you have to drive the car like its real as can be.

Other things:
Flooding and Bad Language filter in (NARA USER host)
Airio Scoreboard, connected to other NARA Hosts.

So to keep it short bring a mate and know he is being forced to race 100% equal, and like the real thing. Be on the track and know the dude next to you is using the same equipment and the times on the board were all left there by the same type of people.

You already know, and I stated in my last post that this so called material u present is months old. The host has not been built/planned properly at the time of the replay, you obviously cant read/understand correctly, and by the way your the one putting replays and pictures of me up, not the other way around. so think about who is harassing who.

As for you kenn, I read your reply and wow, yet again, you go off half cocked and under prepared, more worried about being labeled a cheater, than actually changing your ways.

1.NARA HOST was still in development, Raimo is Programmer, OBP 55(me) is in charge of blocking all potential shortcuts, on all tracks. (Kenn you Knew i was making 55 layouts named "nocut" and testing them all for shortcuts) so don't play dumb, or act like u forget now, thats just a lie, by omission. shame on you.
look at the pics, You will also notice there are no objects placed yet. proof you got me during development looking for shortcuts. Good job Kenn !

3. NARAARR has No specific rules for cutting you say ken... I put bales and cones there. These objects mate, the ones off the track... are an "UN-Spoken" rule: DONT HIT THEM !!!

You dont think hitting 8 cones everylap is breaking our un-spoken rule ?, what about when I put bales in 5 minutes later ? I'm the host, that was my rule, and you complained for an hour about a bale that wasn't even on the track. The cones and bales ARE our rules. (the un-spoken ones remember ?) you broke those rules every lap, lap after lap, refused to stop when warned and hence u were banned form our host.

Ur post kenn, contains quotes from other people, but you dont have too much to say for yourself, you even fail to discuss the subject ! "Is the red or green line cutting" you seem more concerned with trying to tarnish my name, than to improve the tattered image of your own.

Timdpr - You dont know what kenn said to me about cutting my track, you werent there bro, dont act like you were !!! wow you'd say anything wouldn't ya!

pearcy 2k7 - You say getting dirt on ur tyres will slow you down for the next corner, In the Most part I agree, but this still does not cover the topic about is it right or not to be on the grass in the first place. and also, for cars like RB4, Grass isn't always a problem on the next turn.

KAW - Using a "little bit of the grass" is the same as using a whole heap of grass, in real life, this throws crap on the road and makes it difficult for the drivers behind, once or twice by accident, but every lap ? na

Dajmin - fairly well said bro, but youll be suprised what people want to try, even through the sand. From time to time, Ive actually seen people get through there and come out the other side fairly ok ! so yeah hence the bails in the sand area.

S14 Drift - I agree that the Lap record involves Shortcutting. but take a look at the pic above, ur telling me this is ok ? (This is what kenn was doing). I disagree.

March Hare & boothy - Good idea, but I prefer to drive more than I watch, and sifting through replays looking for problems is to time consuming. Besides the cutter, got to stay in the race the whole time and effect others like the butterfly effect.. not good

After a 2 hour heated discussion with Kenn Cramer,
I decided to put the pictures up and let people have there say,

This is my opinion:

Accidents happen and going on the grass can sometimes not be avoided, but what do you do when u see someone cutting the corner EVERY lap ?

I belong to the host, NARAARR>Racetrack for G25/Porsche wheel users only,

The Location of this topic is at ASTON - AS1
We all know the down hill S section just before the last corner.

I believe That a race car driver should Keep his car on the track at all times.
The track I believe is the Tarmac section, and Ripple Stripping.
Ripple stripping also contains ripple support sections, (green at aston) these are attached to the ripple strip, but extend out to the grass.
Although ripple extensions are questionable to drive on (you can end up with no part of the car on the tarmac) for the sake of Gameplay I dismiss this.

If a user ends up with wheels on the grass, it should be by accident. in real life, a driver would be black flagged, if they went on the grass to cut a corner repeatedly.

The Ripple is there as a last resort, The extension is like Dire straights, and the Grass, is simply off limits, it is not part of the track.

Kenn believes 2 wheels on the grass anytime for how ever long u like is ok, while the other 2 wheels are riding on the ripple extension. (see pic above)
LMAO, He Actually asked me to take away the cones, cause they were disrupting him from getting onto the grass, Crazy talk if you ask me.

Im sorry, but ive never seen a car race, where drivers do this, throwing up grass and dirt everylap on the same corners just doesn't happen, thats why racetracks are made of hard stuff lol

So now because of drivers who lack honesty, integrity and the ability to keep there car on the track at all times, our track looks like Old Mcdonlds, farm.
(1 second penalty being built soon for touching grass and objects will be removed) Objects are placed there to protect the scoreboards from Cutters.

The sad solution , to stop cheaters like this ?

Anyway, this is a forum, If u think Kenn is right, and we should all start fitting Knobbly tires to our cars to handle the offroad action, then have ur say.

If you think your car should be on the racetrack (the hard part lol) at all times feel free to say so too.

Im just tired of doing it the right way, only to have all my good work undone by people who just want to win, rather than feel a true driving/racing experience.
