Joined LFS Dec 2004 and played it around 10 years. But since there were no development LFS got outadated so i moved to iRacing and now I'm mainly on ACC where there are many great communities hosting great races :-)

So guys ...
Latest news is nearly1 year old ...
Scawen cant run this any more, either he invites some pros to get it up2date or LFS will continuing its slow vanish.
Been on iRacing for 3 months ... LFS is soo out of date now
I would gladly pay for a new version of LFS that's competitive with iRacing, but it wont happen with Scawen in charge
To contribute in advance, sorry to say but no way.
Money in advance wont change the dev's attitude to work for the perfect sim and nothing between it. Develop it step by step is the only way to keep it alive.
:yikes:
Dammed, I totally missed this event :weeping::weeping::weeping::weeping:
NDR Nascar events just rocks, even if u dont get to do the race u get so many nice races in the practice sessions
Usuallay Cawwa (Bertil) keeps track of these events, but he's been busy driving his stupid bike , so i guess he has missed this as well
Man i'm so jealous now on all you who managed to quali into the race ... Have FUN
You lucky bastards!
I made it to grid 19, but my dear wife had other plans for Saturday, no options given
Thanx all for all good racing at the practise sessions and the final quali session. Have a Fun race on Sat, CU next KY event
And remember what Deko always says on the Team Speak:
Keep it Clean!
Better put my rookie-stripes on again!
Started race with KY nascar REVERSED set
First i thought it was me just joining from GT3 cup not used to the car ... but on lap 3 right tyres were just burning .. then i realised the fatal misstake.
So i had to go to pitlane, reconfiguring my whole setup without visiting the garage ... took some time i can assure you.
Well, lesson learned, that's what practise sessions are meant for
I have to drive one stint at the GT3 event first, so i be on around 18:15 UTC
Looking forward to this session with mandatory pit, put some more strategic thinking into the race
Also have my new skin without the rookie stripe :-)
Pretty good event at the 2:nd half, had som nice bumping/drafting with some guys
S. Martin, I think we had made it to the top cars ahead of us if we had worked together instead of hotlapping by our own ...
Don't be afraid to dance with me guys, I'm sure faithful to my dancing partner, don't usually run away
Thanx Deko for this practise session ... hopefully we get more green laps next time, cant understand why everybody has to win the race on the first green lap :detective
Also cant understand the behaviour of the driver that was banging all cars on his side while he was claiming his position and warming tyres on the long yellow flag period around lap 40+ ... stupid
Btw, saw u were discussing time zones, this is the very best timezone page on the web, it has all: http://timeanddate.com
The meeting planner on this site is the very best I ever seen: http://timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html
Sure saves my day at work, planning meetings with Sweden, India and Brazil (all with different/none winter/summertime) at the same occasion
I will probably attend, depends on another race event I'm supposed to do admin job at, but it will probably be cancelled as it looks now ...
- Is the practise session Qual a hotlap quali or free driving qual?
- Reset allowed at quali?
- If more than 30 attending the Q, only the fastest 30 will go further to the race. Does this mean that if you don't make it to the race, this practise session is not counted for those drivers?
EDIT: Deko, might be a good idea to update the "Practice Sessions Register" thread as well ... might be more than me that subcribes to that tread to get a email when the tread is updated in order not to miss a practise session :-)
Maybe you could create a locked tread were you just post the practise session ongoing schedule without any discussions. Then it will very easy to find that important info
THANX NDR for a FUN and GREAT event
These NASCAR events are the the most FUN events on LFS at the moment
Since I'm a NASCAR Rookie with rookie stripes on my rear bumper (car #44), main approach was to stay out of trouble, succeeded fairly good I think! I can recall one mistake when I after a restart(?) missed a car on my right side and had a slight contact. Sorry for that whoever it was, but I recall I was the one suffering the most from it
Special thanks to my 2 faithful pushers, #23 J.Dohnalík and #991 S. Martin. When car #23 pushed me I didn't feel it, was just amazing, just driving and holding the line as usual ... sorry that I left you behind, but i couldn't connect to you again when you lost me ...
991 took me to place 14 after that, also a great pusher ... don't think we should have made that switch thou on the lap before the last one, since we lost to much momentum on it, and that 3-car train approaching. I fully understand that you wanted to be ahead of me at the checker flag, but I had already planned to let you pass me before the finish
Once again, GREAT and FUN event.
More of this stuff please
Less than 30% af the drivers showed up at today's quali events ... really bad respect for the race organisation imo!
Should be just common sense to to notify Deko if you are not about to anticipate! Really can't understand this ignorance to people putting a lot of their free time to make these great events come true!
Thanx Deko and all u other guys in NDR for arranging these LFS Nascar events
Heat 4, already 2 safety cars on 8 cars driving ... how will it be with full grid
EDIT: Now its 3 safety cars .. some drivers might run out of fuel ;-)
Thanx Deko, now i can go to sleep, almost 02:00 here in Sweden ... forgot when I posted my Q that u are only early evening in the US
Always behind Europe :X
