Hej Rolle, jag håller koll på om TR kommer igång en vacker dag - förstår att det varit svårt att hålla i liv om intresset svalnat men nu börjar mina barn bli lite större så jag hinner med igen... tror jag =)
I've put together a new video with some epic movie-style approach. It features some slow motion sections and some fast paced action sections from our 'Thursday Race' series.
Thanks for feedback. The really long shots are to represent that there are many of us racing (30+ tracks on the grid) so I understand it will not please the thrillseeker in that way - maybe more so the organised race fan =)
It's a 620W Corsair, I made sure I spent decent money on that just in case. No other games freeze like this which I find odd if it were to be a HW issue (Crysis, BF2, GTR2 etc).
There are only old posts with this topic but they are quite old. Since upgrading to Y18 the sim freezes and sound loops in the middle of a race (reboot is only way out). I haven't been able to see a pattern yet, but it always happens when I am in a cup/series race usually featuring quite a few cars and when it's important that the game is stable.
My setup is:
CPU: Q6600 (not overclocked) - no overheating issues
MB: Asus P35-DQ6
Mem: 4GB
GFX: Nvidia 9800GTX
OS: Vista x64
Wheel: G25
Sound: Motherboard sound
I'd like to announce our newly re-launched website. It features the drivers of NRG, gallery, videos, news (race reports) and so forth. Feel free to drop by and have a look around. A little tag in the guestbook is awlays welcome
We mainly race in the swedish series "Torsdagsrace".
Our very own [NRG] Martin.S and SOR<>S}{adow had a very nice 10 lap battle in the second race of Torsdagsrace season 7. This video is a short summary featuring some in-car and chasing footage. Video by Imphy.
Hmm, I posted them as PDFs because the site I originally got them from was down - but I'll remove them of course. That's what you get for trying to be helpful Oh, and for the record I have never claimed that it was mine or that I wrote them, just that I posted them. Now I just have to see if I have anything copyrighted on my computer that I also need to delete - do you? =)
You could buy a cheap USB gamepad and then download the ACT LABS Shifter utility from www.act-labs.com. I got this info from a DIY Shifter project on the web.
Great, glad you found use of it. Before I purchase the projector I am going to try a triple head solution with some older CRT monitors and write about the experience as well.
