Hmm, as for what I tested, texture stretches occur only when I apply AAx4. On x2 and off it works well. I have to test x3. AF is set to x16. What can be the cause of textures stretching on AAx4?
EDIT: %@#! I added AI and even without AA and AF it's getting weird
Hello. I don't know if my graphics card is dying, but in some games I get weird texture stretches, blinking white pixels etc. I reinstaled windows and have the same. I tried many drivers, but I can't find one that would solve my problem. My GPU temperature is reported to have 48-49*C at load. It is cooled by Accelero S2[passive]. Also, in BIOS and when booting PC i have "black pixels". Few times even my screen "looped by the monitor".
I've got an E2160, Gigabyte P31-DS3L and a kinda good PSU. Can it be, that MB BIOS is freaking and can't transfer data properly between graphics card and rest of the system?
As for the Shift + F4 and Alt + Tab, the first makes my pc kinda freezing, but when I push it again, it goes back to fullscreen and everything unfreezes. Alt+Tab works immediately without freezing.
Other issues I do have with graphics. Textures stretch to the sky or across the road, like if my graphics card was overclocked too much. It has temps about 44*C when playing, and even when I underclock it, it still makes graphics crazy[sometimes even whole screen blinks black]. As for this, I really don't know if my graphics card isn't broken, cause in few other games I get weird "white blinking pixels" etc, but some other games[actually most of my games] just work without any artifacts even after overclocking. Eg WarRock and AA work without problems. I really don't like to race when fence is stretched across whole track :P or something touches the sky :P
But still i hear the peak sound at 6800-7000rpm ... i think I`ll just buy headphones, because as far as i tested in headphones i dont hear the peak so you can leave it as it is
All cars except formulas and FZR give me headache at about 6800-7000RPM, where i hear the peak 'bass' sound. Only the FZR is correct for me because it is improved now... if all cars sounds were improved like the FZR was, it`ll be good[for my health no headaches :P]
Yay, now I don`t get headache in FZR and i even better hear the engine sounds, but still i feel like in a muffler hope it changes in some version, so it`ll be loud and roary
30-36s of the "LFS_sound_FZR" shows the rpm sound that i don`t like in fzr ... i get a headache because of it
These 2 files were recorded using "what u hear" from SB Live ... for me the engine sounds are sth like mono and are too silent as for RACING cars ... this type of sound you can have in a limo where everything is faced with silencing mats (is my english bad? ) to reduce the noises. Sports car should roar i really loved the FZR engine sound from U patches :]
I already gave you links to the VW Beetle racing sound compare it to the new LFS sounds, the VW is really loud roaring
Doh, after 5mins of playing i get a headache new sounds are horrible for me cars sound like in GeneRally(with Funny sound theme), but there`s too much low frequencies(that play in sattelites, not in subwoofer illepall) in FZR at 9k rpm i get this horrible sound.
In the attachment i put comparison of LFS GTI and GeneRally sounds ;]
The previous sounds(from U30) were much better
P.S. after playing first time the U35 patch, shutting down LFS and starting it again my gearbox changed to H, not sequential illepall it happened only once.
I`ve got over 80FPS in LFS, sometimes it goes to about 100, but when i have Girder turned on it lowers to ~60 or ~45 ... that program is for controling pc programs using an IR pilot. I don`t know why it lags so much, but it slows down the game like every 2nd second ;] (lol) so the best is to kill every needless apps before starting LFS
Yeah, I agree with szyszek, sometimes you must change one thing in your setup and you can`t remember what value it had. It`d be nice to have an 'built-in' notepad in LFS with different tabs ... eg. for all notes, for notes that are only for chosen setup etc.
