Is there still no ghost mod available, or are there plans to put it in officially?

Having mates round trying to beat each others ghosts is the best fun i ever had on LFS... once the old mod broke i don't play it much anymore

any plans? it was such a damn awesome mod!

it would be absolutely brilliant if the brilliant ghost mod that no longer works could be implemented by the LFS developers for the next major release, it was a superb tool for practicing and was great fun

oh ok, what a shame, it was a mod that made the game for me (i had a shoddy tinternet connection at the time and the AI was pap so i used to love doing time trials...)

i wish the LFS team would implement it so it'd be there for good...

i stopped playing LFS a few years back when the ghost mod stopped working, and i check back periodically to see if it has been re-implemented yet...

has is, or are then any plans as of yet? i'll take it up again soon anyway but i really loved the ghost car (taking it in turn with mates to squeeze every 10th of a second out of a track )

hell the LFS developers might have implemented it by now...

and could i just add the ghost doesnt display in the rear view mirror like it used to... any ideas?

downloaded the ghostcar mod as i used to love it when i was playing LFS last year but now i've come back to it the latest ghostcar mod doesnt work correctly with the latest LFS realease

i completed my first lap of SO in the FOX and the ghost that appeared was the basic LFS demo car, can't remember the name, but either way the ghost was the wrong car... then i realised it was only drawing a bit of the trail every now and then...

anyone else encountered this? know how to fix it?

i just had a play on the ghost car thing, but i did a lap of SO in the trusty old fox but the ghost was the little basic car (cant remember the name) and also only left the odd bit of ghost trail, every now and then itd draw a bit...

this didn't used to happen is it an incompatability with the lastest LFS build or something?

on the upside ive never seen that little car go so fast

(but seriously... whats the problem?)

• is used to have so really REALLY cool skins for some of my cars... where is the best place to get them again?

• i used to use some sort of mod which made a ghost car and left a trail... where do you get this?

• i used to love trying the setups of the people with the really shi** hot times... i seem to remember downloading them from LFS world but cant find that anymore... any ideas?

i bent the truth a bit without intention... he has tested with a newly formed Renault team called Worswick Engineering, here u go:







he is a karting veteran having raced in europe a'plenty and is the british '0' plate champion in ICA - he has more than proved his worth in the team pulling off laptimes at donnington near-as-damn-it to guys who have been doing it for years but he is yet to find the sponsorship - he has the skill but can't foot the bill...

as far as i can see, FOX is based on Formula Renault... and as those cars look mighty cool i was wondering if anyone has done a decent Renault skin?

(my brother-in-law races in Formula Renault and i know he'd like to see it too )

never really looked at the hotlap records before... i thought 45.72 was pretty damn good never mind... i'll keep trying

i have just pulled off a 45.72 in FOX and was gonna upload the hotlap but can't find it... is it cuz im running the ghost mod? has it not saved the replay

how do i do this? i have been playing around with all the settings but i want em back to default now... is there a quick option anywhere?

i switched the filters so only public was showing, thats the only one that matters really aint it... i cant get on full, passworded, or empty servers can i... (well there'd be no point)

just got a few questions now i've got me feet

• i've had a short go online, but noone seems to be racing just driving around a bit? plus every server i tried was yellow flagged and the speed capped to 50

• there were only 5 servers with people in (about 20 people all together) - this surely cant be right?

• at the top of the in-game server list it says: "CAN JOIN 5 - [NO REPLY] - [WRONG VERSION 0]... is this implying summats wrong?

• lastly: when originally unlocking, i specified a GAMEPassword, but this would not work to unlock the game, before emailin admin i thought i may aswell try a password that i used ages ago, and it worked and unlocked the game - my question is now is it going to cause any problems that the password i used to unlock is different to the one entered in my online account? i.e. i only have 1 unlock left so dont want anything to go wrong.

i used to play S1 all the time and havn't played for donkeys then went back on the site and wahey S2 is out

just got a few Qs:

1) where has the credit system gone? i used to like building up to gettting a new car now i can just jump straight in the best ones

2) when i bought it, it came up in my account that i payed, but the licence still said S1 - so i entered the voucher that i got via email after paying my second £12 and it worked... but i recently found out that voucher is not for use like that its for other people? so how should it have updated me to S2 then? and can i get back that voucher and give it to a mate or summat?
