After a long long time away from LFS, I've returned! Albiet on a casual status. Good to see the team I joined all those years ago are still going strong! All the best for the future!
After 1.5 years of racing I took 6 months out illepall
Why oh why did I leave? I jumped on line on Sunday and found a team mate racing in the RAC and though I'd give it a go, I dont know why but I got hooked again
n1Racing is very quiet at the moment and has been for some time. I found a new game to play which is taking up most of my free time (Eve-Online). But I am sure I will reduce my gameplay on that at some point.
hopefully the rest of the n1 members will come back, I would hate to see n1Racing die...our Team Manger is away on Army duties and for the rest I dont really know. A few may have moved to other teams, our forums have been dead lately.
I even tried to become a member of the OLFSL crew to keep me in the game, but with RL commitments on a Sunday I was missing most of the races.
I really love driving sims...infact I can not even driver anyother since I played LFS so I am sure my passion will return...possibly within the new F1 season.
Well after a break of several months I have tried to come back to race, but still there alot of idiots out there and gettig a good clean race can take several attempts to start.
I hope to be back at some point, but I dont see it in the near future.
So until my passion returns I'll see you later.
When does Comma Seperated Value not mean Comma Seperated Value?
When your working on Euro style documents.
I am wrighting a program to read in values from a CSV file and add these values to a structure.
Works fine in English as I am using a ',' as a token to find the data, but I just checked a csv saved on a German OS and the "Comma Separated Value" is a ';'
So when does "Comma Seperated Value" not mean what it says, everywhere but English!!! :hbomb:

Reason : Spelling, typo's the usual stuff
I know how a pain it can be to support different codepages, but luckily I have not needed to support 2-byte Japanese (I see your not supporting that yet too )but I know I will have to adapt my program for that soon
So far I have worked with 90% of Windows codepages including Greek :P
Currently I am a Software Engineer working for a printer and mfp manufaturer, not the evil HP :P but we are number 3 in europe, well the last time they told us we were number 3 :P
