taken to hospital as a precaution. apparantly he was complaining of a sore back, so if that's the only problem, he did little damage to himself.
they really should have red flagged the race at that point- there were only 6 green laps during the fourth hour...
and what was with the safety car for the first jason richards incident at the end (the one where he jumped the track and buried himself in the sand)? that didn't require a safety car, it wasn't blocking the track nor was it in a dangerous position. should have left him there to keep the flow of the race going- maybe it was done to liven up the final 10 laps?
disappointed to see Jason Bright out early, but I think that Lowndes winning the race was the best result, seeing as he was mentored by Brock and he finally ended Holden's reign
